Just heard the news that the big man passed from cardiac arrest. Saw him live and it was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Gone too young at 45, but I knew with his weight he wouldn't make it too much longer. Sad day.

RIP Big Man Ralphie
Everybody grab a handful of a big chunky monkey in his honor this weekend.
I was a big fan of his. His material was superb, but his stage presence and delivery were spot on.

He was on a local morning radio show often here in Phoenix. I remember him telling a story where he nearly died on a cruise ship from pneumonia, mostly due to his weight. He just couldn’t handle that many pounds on his frame. Some guys can handle obesity better than others. Ralphie’s body just got tortured.
