Close to 200 official rounds a season, some years more. For about eight years now.

This year is an exception. I had an intercostal injury that sidelined me for quite a while: 140 official rounds thus far.

Hmmm probably every year since spring 2006, played on the high school team in ND, played every day that I could. Then played in college, both fall and spring seasons and even after college. I love to play the game, and take every opportunity that I can to play, easy for a 27 year old single guy that works golf course agronomy lol.

It's been at least 11 years in a row of 100+ rounds for me. Employed full time, no kids.

I'd guess this was the 3rd in a row.  Don't track my rounds that closely, but can't think of a week I didn't play twice in a long time.

17 years running between 100 and 130 rounds. And I still work, and live in Canada with a golf season from first week of May (sometimes) to October (sometimes). Tomorrow will be my final round of 2017.

This is an incredible in-season rate of play. You basically have 150 good days and are nailing between 66% and 85% of the available days (and we haven't even talked about the weather).

That, my man, is kicking some a$$.

I have been playing golf since approx. 2012.

I don't have records from when I started, but my handicapping system goes back 4 years. Bearing in mind comp golf would be 60-70% of rounds played, I am fairly confident I have broken 100 rounds a year every year since I have been playing. This year alone I have played 63 comp rounds, and 28 social rounds, across 34 different courses.

The best part is I work offshore for 4 weeks at a time. In my next 4 weeks off, I have already booked in 18 more rounds (including 11 courses I haven't yet played this year). It's likely I'll play another 4-5 more rounds in amongst that.

At least 12 at more than 130 rounds per year. I play twice a weekend, every weekend if I can. I probably get another 30+ rounds in the afternoons during the good season.

The next time will be my first...

I get maybe 25 rounds a year, and sometimes it feels too much. Not that I don't want to play more, but that other things are more important.

Pretty impressive to hit the ball and play as well as you do with the limited rounds.

I've played 330+ rounds for 8 years in a row up until this year when I had my knee replaced in Feb.  I'm at 155 ytd and will most likely hit 200 this year.  funny how no matter how much or how little I play the HC stays in the 7.0-8.5 range

I'm at 5 rounds of golf this year, treasure every minute of it!

Young guy with family and 1 year old...

Can't wait for him to get into golf!  I'll probably be 40 by then

But hey, this site keeps the gears turning about golf all year round

Kudos to the others that can play that much

Never played 100+ in a single season yet BUT ......

last year,  the number of games i played was one greater than my age.

A pretty good season and an accomplishment i am proud of.

Hint:  i am a late boomer who may just early retire in 2019.

I played exactly 60 rounds this year, and that was enough. I feel like I would be so burnt out if I played 100+ in a season. I like to cycle through playing about 3x/week for a month and then take 2 weeks off completely.

I play public courses almost exclusively, and I simply pay as I go. All the employees at the city courses know me, and while I end up paying for most everything, I do get freebies every now and then (lots of range balls, some rounds, etc).

All the country clubs near me are either [1] $hitty, [2] too far away, or [3] $80,000+ initiation fee with $500/month dues, and there's no way in hell I'm gonna pay that to play a single course.

I don't do the city membership deal because I hate the feeling of prepaying for things. It makes me feel like I have an obligation to get the most bang for my buck, and that means day-to-day anxiety that is completely relieved if I simply pay as I go.

The first couple years I played golf I played at various local public courses for anywhere from $15 to $45 per round. Mostly though I played at the very inexpensive ($15-$20) course nearest my house. Probably 110 or so rounds each year.

Even at those low green fees I eventually realized the best deal going was the $63/month "membership" (basically a monthly pass) at that course so I signed up and from that point on played 90% of my golf at the place where it was prepaid.

Since then I moved to a much more upscale semi-private at more than double the cost (still 110-120 rounds per year) and then eventually to a full-on private country club, doubling the cost again. Probably more like 130 rounds per year now but still well over 90% of them at my home club.

But golf has never been cheaper for me (and in truth, probably hasn't been *that* much more fun) than playing every Sat/Sun plus nine holes a couple evening a week after work for $63/month at that cheap and cheerful neighborhood course. Alas, it has fallen on hard times and is a barely-maintained shadow of itself. Plus I now live across town instead of 5 minutes down the road. Pretty sure you can still play there all the golf you care to play for around $70/month. I think they even offer a yearly pass with unlimited rounds including cart for something like $1,300/year!

Zero.

Maybe I did it back in my 20's (25 years ago) when I used to walk twilight rounds after work.  These days, with work and kids and stuff, I'm at about 60 rounds per year and for me that's pretty good.   I'd love to play more.

Anyone playing 100+ and paying as you go, ie no CC or public course season pass?  I topped out at 60 before joining a CC.

CC has been excellent for me. It's not too expensive, my group pretty much has a set 7 am tee time every Saturday and Sunday, range balls free. After work it's almost never crowded and some days it feels like I have the entire place to myself.

Add to that I have a locker where I can keep my things and that saves a lot of time.

In about a year I'll be moving nearly 50 minutes away. Not sure what I'm going to do when that happens. Just thinking about it is depressing. :(

Zero. Our season runs May-Oct if we're lucky.
I may have played that many when I was in university back in New Zealand, but since moving to Canada I'm lucky if I can get 30 or so rounds in.
Meh, when living in Minnesota with the similar season many of us managed.
I am probably over 25 in a row-and still working. May have missed a year or two with surgeries but pretty certain all over 100.
