Good news is now the counterfeiters can get to work on the sole design/graphics.

Counterfeiters sure as hell don't rely on pictures of a finished product from the United States to get their designs. They have moles in the factories overseas that take sample parts, pictures, etc. and shill them off. Take iPhone and sneaker counterfeits as an example. The fake products are almost out to the public earlier than the real one in many instances.

Same with the alleged M3/4 colour scheme it's a bit 90's I think.

Continental Golf will continue to benefit from terrible color choices.

all black - black/grey - not hard, and easily more appealing to a wider audience, at least I would think.  I have been wrong a couple times....

Epic SZ 3+ - Tensei Pro Orange 70 - 44"

Certainly not a stunning color if the crown is same as visible edges. Just don’t understand why Callaway abandons the Epic franchise instead of improving it. Instead carry it over and position it cost wise below the Rogue. Why not something like an “Epic Rouge” and then a Steelhead driver to replace Fusion and XR. Just seems like they are abandoning their most successful driver (not improving it) since the original Big Bertha. Absolutely no data but just feels like a miss particularly if the rumors about TM new generation drivers hold up. The buzz seems to be as excited by those who have seen them as last years game changer Epic.. time will tell obviously.

Didn't really say any of that did I. But I can teach you this fella.

When numbers are and have been maxed out for some time, aesthetics and shape is everything. Like others have said, it's a hard pass on that front.

So again, ltd Pro very safe.

Colour scheme has a bit of a ladies club feel about it.

Can’t believe people here are complaining about seeing a pic of the club.

The real issue is Golf companies still thinking they can launch clubs like its pre Internet. You cannot seriously think in this day and age that you can show a golf club to 1000s of people across the USA and not 1 person is going to take a photo and share it during the 3mth period between tour pros hitting it, stores seeing it, to the official launch day.

The old media still respects an embargo, new Media and the general public don’t care. You may as well drop a few controlled leaks in the lead up to the launch. Not every golfer is on golf chat sites. Don’t worry Callaway, there’s still enough people out there that doesn’t know a new club is coming and will still pay full price for an Epic.

How pretentious of you!  Coincidentally, if Callaway was upset with this leak, they'd simply have to ask to have it removed.

I could care less about Cally, but I do care about the consumer, i.e ME! I cannot afford it these days but I can tell you that that I have no problem buying Taylormade. I like Cobra's pricing but I don't think they have the lasting quality. I wish Nike were still around also. I had an all black vapor fly driver and that thing was sweet.

By lasting quality do you mean resale value? I certainly believe Cobra's quality is equal to or better than Callaway and TaylroMade. Performance is right there as well.

I was underwhelmed by the Rogue until i hit it. I was never an epic fan to begin with, couldn’t get past the sound at impact. But it seems like the Rogue both fits me better (longer average drives) and the sound is more M2ish, which I totally prefer to the “carbony” sound of the Epic. I’ll still be playing my M1 but the Rogue is a step up for sure. And to quote my rep “you won’t sell a SINGLE epic if the same customer hits a Rogue....”

Maybe it's just me but that looks "old" in design.

Aren't 99.9% of drivers being released old in design it just recycled variants?  I mean they really can't do anything beyond what the governing body allow so the focus really becomes what kind of marketing story they can come up with.  This especially becomes obvious with the 9-12 month cycle guys.  Do we honestly believe that Epic will have any less "tech" than Rogue?  Of course not... At least those of us who pay some attention to club design.  There won't be any "tangible" differences in performance.  The best players in the world switch to the latest and greatest tech but curiously they're numbers from season to season change very little if any at all.  So in the end, there's absolutely nothing wrong with basing your driver purchase on aesthetics and feel.  That's where real and meaningful change occurs from driver to driver.

Did you get to hit the 3 wood?
