Time to get some new shoes & would appreciate suggestions. I walk a lot so lightweight is important as well as room in the toebox, also play frequently in the dew so waterproof is big. I prefer zero drop or very little drop from heel to toe. I don't have a preference for spikes vs. spikeless, I've worn both. I like the pictures I've seen of the Adidas Gripmore 2, I think it is, but haven't seen them in person. Any thoughts? Thanks...

I wear the Gripmore to walk all the time. Very comfortable shoe, and while not the greatest looking thing out there, not terrible looking either (cough cough Sketchers cough cough).  They hold up well in the water, though if it's really wet I'll break out the Dry Joys instead.

In the pictures I've seen they remind me of an old school tennis shoe from my college years. You know, back when God was still making dirt... :golfer:

If you can get past the fact that they're Skechers.... then Skechers Go Golf Pro 2 (Spiked) or Go Golf Elite 2 (Spikeless).

I have worn Ecco Biom Hybrids for the last 4-5 yrs, and they're fantastic. This year i bought the Biom Hybrid GTX. They're even better!! This past weekend on a golf trip it rained 2 of the 4 days.... My feet stayed completely dry.The goretex makes all the difference.Great shoes.

Picked up some FJ Pro SL's this year and haven't looked back. Can't wait for the next version to be released. I've played probably 50 times in them and the spikes will still be going strong into next season.

I hear mixed reviews of the Ecco Biom Hybrids. Pretty much everybody raves about the fit & comfort but also hear the yak leather doesn't take to water very well, stains noticeably. Also pricier than I generally go. There are a couple of the colorways of the Biom Hybrid 2 available for $160 which is the upper limit I'm willing to pay.

I have 3 pairs.  They are not waterproof and barely water resistant.  The white or light colors will stain, so you must protect them with some sort of spray.  You can find them much cheaper than $160 online, I bought some earlier this year for $99 Canadian so you can get them cheap.  Sizing is European and I would recommend trying them on in person somewhere before ordering online.  Just like any other shoes, the size is only a guideline, actual fit will vary.  For instance, I wear size 42 Birkenstock sandals, 43 ecco golf shoes, and I have other euro leather shoes in 44.  I'm a 10-11 size here.

Great grip/traction, comfort and fit.  I love them, but I will say they may not be for everyone.

The Boombah shoes that I bought for $29.99 are more comfortable than the FJ Pro SL shoes that I have.

I have both colors. VERY comfortable shoes and I am a big fan of the BOA closure system. Have had it in my last two pairs of golf shoes and my running shoes.  These can also be found cheaper at other places online.

I've got last years Adidas Powerband Boa, and I absolutely love them.  I've stepped into some puddles and my feet stayed dry, and I think they are pretty dang comfortable as well.  Haven't walked a round, but did play 36 back in August with a cart (still had 22,000 steps) and my feet didn't hurt afterwards, if that counts for anything.

I walk a lot, too, and I have been wearing the Skechers Go Golf Elites and they are pretty good, but even better for me has been the Ashworth Cardiff ADC 2.  I have a previous generation but they are by far the most comfortable and durable shoe I have ever worn out there.  I tried them on a special for $30 from RBG a while back and I could not be happier with them.  Run true to size, room in the toe box, keep the feet dry, and are pretty light weight.  I am considering buying another pair and passing out the Skechers even as good as they are.  The Ashworths are GREAT quality and have been a great spikeless option for me.
