So yesterday my partner and I ham and egged to the max.  It was sort of a surreal day.   My buddy kept rolling in 20 foot birdie for eagle putts and I had a rare day where I was flagging my irons.

We were at 90% of caps and managed to shoot -15 in an event.

He had 16 dots and I had 4.  The two par 3 holes we were "naked on", I birdied both of them

It was quite a day.   We were actually even after 3 holes, opened with a GOOD bogey, starting on the devilish 16th hole.  15 under on last 15 !!!

Amazingly, I missed a 3 foot birdie on #17 and a four foot eagle (for a net albatross) on #2.   I think we had 9 gross birdies.  5 net eagles.

Anyone else catch lightning in a bottle?   Other good stories out there?

(Side story:   My friend and I played a 2 man match against a 14 capper and his buddy 3 years back.  He and I had 6 gross birdies each, him shooting 79 and me a 68, and though we were not partners that day our other 2 guys calculated we would have been -20 if we'd been paired up .. so I know out of the world flukes can happen in two man net events)

Last Saturday I was 2 over par and my buddy I played with was 3 under. Our gross better ball score would have been -11. I had six birdies, he had five and an eagle, and they were almost all on different holes. It was a lot of fun, I just wished I could have saved some of the shots I hit for a tournament the next day.

Craziest for me was when I played in a 3-man Vegas where the total handicap of the team had to be around 30. I was paired with a 14 and 15 index and we shot a 61 (-11). These guys made more putts than they'd ever made in their lives and I went 18/18 on gir

I think we had the lowest score by 6 shots that day

I played a member guest last year and was in the last group the second day.  We watched two guys who didn't get a lot of strokes go 16 under.  One fella had 8 or 9 birdies on his own ball within 6 or 8 feet.  Fun to watch a guy shoot lights out.

11 under gross is insanity !!  Even for two + golfers

We were the lowest twosome score by 8 shots yesterday

Our four man team won by 10.   (Combine the better balls of both twosomes)

That was funny about the round I mentioned.  Both guys probably sandbag a little and then they went unconscious.

Everybody was grumbling afterwards and kept rushing to me to confirm, he can't be a 5 index blah blah.

Hell, they went 11 or 12 under and won the gross by 4 shots, who cares?

First flight low net at a four ball in May came in at 59. Competitor handicaps were in the 5-7 range, I think.

I knew one of the pair - newly retired with one of those handicaps trending down. Didn't surprise me at all, but our club did get a request to look carefully at this guy. Absolutely not a bagger. Just a really good day for both guys.

First-great playing!! That is an awesome two man score.

Second-in Canada do they not use the 8 shot differential rule? Here each player would get dinged an extra 10% of their cap if the players are more than 8 strokes apart in their handicap.

Reading this I couldn't help but assume that you were 12-15 handicapper that had a good day.  Then I saw your actual handicap.  That's very impressive for a low handicap to shoot that much better than normal.  Congrats.
