That is one good looking wedge.  I like how the leading edge isn't too round or perfectly straight.

These don't look any different to me....other than paint fill, no?

I would imagine they are forged this time around.

I like the 56 with the 8* bounce, hopefully they will have the MD2 feel.

Well, not buying those to replace my MD 2 Tours next season. Hopefully MD Forged goes on CPO for a steal or i'll just get another set of Tours off the bay. Might grab a 64* if they give it the Roger and Phil treatment.

Just seen pics of a forged version but I believe they were last years model. But the players bag had both Milled and Forged, so I can't see why both wouldn't be available again.

Look unpleasantly big would need to see them beside MD3. These arenít forged so another MD milled version as the hosel says.

Meh they pretty much look like MD2 meets MD3. Even though I still game my MD2 I don't even like the wedge really. It lost it's grip really fast, but it still feels very soft so I've kept it. I didn't see the point in buying new golf gear this late into the season, I'm waiting to try SM7's and S18's next spring (and maybe a new Cobra offering?).

Interested to see the 46 and 48. Those could be good compliments to the new '18 Apex MB and X-Forged.

These look like a milled version of the MD2 Tour Grinds (which are still in my bag!).  I'll be interested to see what finish and grind options come out, but the shape is great and they seemed to incorporate the "extra" groove from the MD Forged as well.

They look to be in Branden Grace's bag, and he played the MD2 Tour Grind so that bodes well for us MD2 players.

I like the shape of these. I have a set of the old X forged in pristine condition. Those set the bar for feel and shape IMHO although I don't play them often.
I played the MD2 TG's and now have the MD forged in the bag. The MD forged feel as close to the old X forged I think. I like the shape
better on these than the MD forged. They do look like a combination of the MD2 & MD3. They do appear to have the extra bottom groove.
And I'm glad the chain link design on the MD 2's went away.

Look inspired by the Mack Daddy Forged

Mini-groove at the bottom of the face, leading edge shape, etc.

Need to incorporate the shape of the MD2 Tour but match it with the feel and softness of the MD forged.

Edit: AND offer better Grind options like the MD2 and MD3 offered.

Curious as to why the U grind didn't work for most people. I thought it was the most versatile grind available. All my wedges have something similar that I've done and I love them. Not looking to argue, just interested in your insight.
