Of the options I like #2 though

Especially when it's in story format....

"I played against this guy who drove it 300yds, but the guy never hit a fairway. I hit 14 fairways and 18 greens with my smooth swing and beat him. The whole time he was just concerned with distance, but I, genius golfer that I am, executed every shot with precise precision. Also he was arrogant and I am super humble. Also my wife was hotter than his. I also probably have a bigger p*nis. Like I said he had this huge ego"

OP's story - I was mugged at gun point in a dark alley.

Typical WRXer response - what were you doing in that alley?  You are asking to be mugged when you carry that much money.

God forbid you have an opinion about something. If you think paying PXG prices is a joke, you're just a hater, jealous and no one is forcing you to buy them. If you don't understand why someone would spend $750 for a golf belt, you just need to shut up and not worry about what others do with their money. Now don't misconstrue this with those that are actually A Holes about these things.

How about the "My foursome can play walking a 7600 yard course, all shooting over 110, at ages 65-80 in 15 minutes." guys?

I regret that I can only give this post one 'like'.
The "I play fast, everyone else should play as fast" guys can get annoying...fast.

I love the passive brag threads! Often I don't even notice it until someone else points it out, which adds an extra level of enjoyment.

Wasn’t aware that specific was a common stereotype here.

Does that make you a 2,3 or 5?

If I pointed out that precision has, by definition to be precise, would that put me into category 3?

The type that always ask you what kind of (anything really) is best for them. Which grip is best for me? What kind of driver is best for me? What golf ball should I use? Should I have kids? Did I marry the right woman, she doesn't play golf? Am I on the right planet?

That's actually fine with me 2puttom as it will allow more time to sift through posts on a Nebraska football message board from Husker fans who think we actually will attempt to hire Barry Alvarez as our AD and/or Bob Stoops as our next football coach :russian_roulette:

Those who pose "general questions or ideas" by using introspection:

"Am I still a man if I can't hit it 310+ yards every single drive?"
"Does the white belt make me feel better.............and therefore play better?"
"I would NEVER play loud music like Lincoln Park and The Limp Biscuits on a golf course."
"Does the size of one's golf balls matter..........no wait..........I think they are all the same size."
"This is our final group  - the 1:40 starting  tee time, from Virginia, Ferguson!!!"

The search function sucks. Practically useless.

Exactly OP. With a quick search I found that there was already a "typical WRXER" thread from March of last year and even though the subject matter was different than what this thread is about and everyone seems to be enjoying it and having a good time, we don't need another thread about this.

Even that thread was unnecessary because there had been a "typical WRXER" thread from 2013 that pretty much covered everything that we needed to know about typical WRXer's.
