Wasn’t aware that specific was a common stereotype here.

Ok, to be more general "hits PGA tour lengths" with smooth controlled swing

Bombs 300+ yards drives on the reg, dressed to the nines on the course, $500 golf outfits, never shorts, walks only, uses a yardage book, clubs are spotless, goes bareback / no iron covers while playing, getting through this round in under an hour for sure, club brands probably don't match, casually hatin' on Tiger, all while staring with disgust at your poker chip ball marker.....

I think the most common "type" I have seen since I've been here is the person who posts about the WRX-long stereotype. Have never actually seen that actual WRX-long guy post yet.

The second most common is the "slow play is killing golf" guy.

Those threads are entertaining when both parties end up in them but otherwise a definite SMH sort of thing.

The long-winded posts with all sorts of information you don't want to hear that seem to go on and on and on. I wonder how many people actually read those long posts? Posts like that when I attached to other similar posts several times seem to take up an entire page of space. If a post is past a certain length I generally don't read what they have to say, I expect a lot of hot air.

I am guilty as sin when it comes to long posts sometimes. Trouble is I type WAY too fast and don't realize how much I am typing until it's done.

Starting a thread about another topic so they can sneak in a few unrelated PBs hoping
you don't notice that was the purpose of the thread. Only on WRX.

Walks 18 in 3 hours with only 3 clubs, driver, wedge, putter, and either has 3 grand in that setup, or 3 bucks from a Goodwill deal.  Opinionated, overly sensitive to anything golf related, but, a great guy to tee it up with.

I just thought the typical WRX'er carries it 300, has hit EVERY club ever made (they all suck), and has a connection on Tour for inside information........I didn't know there was more to it than that........

15 index, works balls both ways, needs to play the same ball every round because he knows exactly how it will react, GI clubs make him concentrate less so he needs blades or micro cavities, hits 80% of fairways, short game holds him back. AND DON'T QUESTION ANY OF THIS!!!!!!!
