In 2016, I purchased the "TaylorMade Tour 39Thirty Cap, Gray, Large/X-Large" by New Era for golfing.  I'm a size 8 and it fits pretty good.

Also I purchase a lot of mesh hats at bigheadcaps.com and they fit great, although I haven't tried their flexfit option yet.

I'm definitely going to check out the above suggestion of the Titleist Dobby Tech in xxl.

I wear a 7 7/8 and find that really any fitted hat works as it seems that they all run true to size.  It's just the ones labeled "XL" or the like that usually create issues for me.

I've purchased a couple of hats from the Big Hat Store without issue.  I especially like the extra long visor for a round of golf if you have the hairline to pull it off.

Anyone else notice that Imperial seemed to change the fit if the XL210P? It doesn't seem to be near as deep as it used to be.

+1. Visors take the shallow out of the equation

I wore a 7 3/4 in my high school ball days. On the course I am either in a visor, or an Under Armour stretch fit cap in xl/xxl
Exactly my problem.  Even 7 3/4 hats fit tight and are too shallow.  Hat won't come down even close to my ears.  I have found Mizuno makes great visors and has new styles every year.

So I discovered a hat that is a great fit for us bobble-headers.  It is the Adidas Adizero clima-cool hat.  It doesn't have a hat button on the top which I thought was different when I initially found it (Ross discount store for $10)  It is fitted, light, breathes, SPF something.  It is a great hat.  There was only 1 when I initially found it.  I have been searching on eBay for them.  I found adjustable ones for < $20, but not fitted.  If you come across them, don't be afraid to give them a try.

Ahead found in most pro shops and sometimes online, sells an XL style that you do not need to adjust all the way to the very end like their regular style.
Nike is also pretty good (own a lot of their hats), and PING's new line last year, FINALLY fit big noggin's like mine.
But essentially like others have said, I have moved to visors, and my fav is the Adidas Adi-Zero. Fit's great and get them straight from Amazon!

Anyone else think that the new classic 99 aerobill has a bit of a lower crown then the previous classic 99. I love the fit of both but feel like the older version tends to sit a bit high.

I couldn't find any Titleist by New Era caps at the end of last season, was super happy to stop into Dick's today and they had them in stock in at least 4 colors.  Those in the L/XL size fit well.  Another place had some type of Titleist flex fit hat in XL/XXL, going to have to pick one of those up too.

Tried a fitted cap, the biggest size Dicks had was a 7 3/4, lol WAY too small.

Size 8 melon here.  I started with fitted MLB on field caps, some of which go to size 8.  64 cm. I believe is the equivalent.  I have since gone to size 8 boonie hats for added sun protection and lighter weight materials. So-called "xl" hats sit on top of my hair like a
Stan Laurel bowler hat...

I have a size 8 nugget (insert Mike Meyers "look at the size of that boy's head" quote here), and the most comfortable golf hat I've found is at the link below in XXL.  Don't think every color is available in that size, but there are a few options.

Almost nothing fits my big head. One size fits all never, l/xl, never. Once in awhile I can find a hat with a strap and if I pull the strap almost all the way out it will fit. I like to wear hats for sun protection and because my hair is thinning but itís quite a project.

Need some help.  Quick overview:

I am a New Era baseball on field size 7 7/8.  For my entire life I've had problems finding hats that fit, especially golf hats.  The biggest and most important aspect to me, other than tightness of course, is depth.  I like hats to come down to my ears.  Almost all fitted/stretch golf hats that I have worn or tried either are too tight or are too shallow.  I would like to stay away from big brand logo'ed hats that make me look like a want to be tour pro... I want a simple, clean look.

A lot of people suggested the Nike Classic 99 in L/XL and I too have tried those in several colors.  They are deep enough and seem to fit at first, but after about 5 minutes they are just too tight and start giving me a headache.  Another drawback of those are the slight boxier crown, which I am trying to avoid.

What are some good options out there that fit these options:

1) Good depth
2) Limited logos
3) XXL size
4) Bigger fitting XL models
5) Dryfit type material preferably, but not a dealbreaker
6) Not boxy
7) No flat brim

Here are some models I found in this and other threads that I like.  Does anyone have experience with any of these regarding depth and fit?

- Imperial XL210P: https://www.imperial...?customizable=1
- Callaway Mesh Fitted XXL (As branded as I would go): http://www.callawayg...spr4690861.html
- Big Head Caps MLB Slouch: https://www.bigheadc...bravesslouchcap
- I know Under Armour has XXL hats too

What else am I missing?  I wouldn't mind trying a big size adjustable hat as well since I haven't been able to wear adjustable hats since I was a kid.

If you made it this far, thank you ahead of time!

Have you tried the TW Classic 99?  It might be different from the standard Nike Classic 99.  I'm a size 8 fitted and I almost feel like I'm swimming in the TW Classic 99 in L/XL (feels nice to have room in a hat for once).

I was at the PGA superstore in Orlando a few weeks ago trying on all of the hats in L/XL and the TW Classic 99 was the only hat that fit me and didn't feel like it was pinching and had a good depth.

Guys, I just wanted to update everyone.  I went with this hat on bigheadcaps.com: https://www.bigheadc...telowprofilecap

First off, bigheadcaps is great.  This hat fits me like no other adjustable hat ever has.  It's deep, comes down to my ears, and has plenty of room left on the velcro adjustment.  I also bought the Red Sox Big Slouch hat which is even deeper.  But onto the white hat:

I took an old white Titleist glove, cut out the logo and stitched it to the hat.  I didn't trim the edges and kept the frayed look which I think looks good.  This is a great size for a logo for those like me that don't want to look like a wanna be tour player.  Take a look and let me know what you think.

Nike Classic 99 is the only one that fits my big old dome piece!lol! Besides a fitted new era but at $35 a pop they get to expensive to sweat in playing golf or they shrink.
