Finding hats are a struggle. I'm used to wearing a L/XL titleist hat or usually a 7 3/4 fits me comfortably. I've noticed that most golf hats and recreational hats just don't look good on my big dome. The only adjustable flatbill that I have found was a Puma hat. Any recommendations on flatbills or hats in general?

Under armour makes a xl/xxl hat, and the Nike Classic 99 L/XL fit big. I'm a 7 3/4 as well and both fit awesome.

I wear a 7 1/2 and I really like the Nike Classic 99 Fitted Golf Hat

I bought a L/XL and actually had to return it for a M/L  - which never happens to me lol

They run big, or at least I know the white one does.

7 3/4 here and finding a hat that fits and doesn't make my head look even bigger than it is is a struggle.

I try on hats in just about every pro shop I'm in, found a hat from Harmony Preserves in Florida a couple of years ago that magically fits AND look decent and is now the only hat I wear. Usually not a fan of brand hats such as Nike or UA but I;ll have to give them a try.

I haven't found anything better in recent memory....Imperial XL210P.  Actually the first hat I've ever been able to slip onto my shoulder topper right of of the box without having to adjust size first.  Not for the flat bill crowd though.

+1. Visors take the shallow out of the equation

I wore a 7 3/4 in my high school ball days. On the course I am either in a visor, or an Under Armour stretch fit cap in xl/xxl

I definitely belong in this club. I have a small collection of Travis Matthew hats that in L/XL Flex Fit and darn near perfect on me. The adjustable are hit and miss, I do have one that I really like, but the Flex Fits are money.

Yeah, besides the fact that most of the OSF or L/XL hats cause headaches because they are so damn tight, I think the flat bill just makes the hat look crazy big. With thinning hair a visor is not an option. I've had the most success with the FlexFit hats, but even some of their XLs can be a bit snug until they are broken in. Sucks having a huge noggin,  I get neck aches from riding a motorcycle with that mammoth helmet catching the wind!

^^^ This. I like my Nike hats but the Travis Matthew flex fits are a touch bigger and a little more shallow too.

My head isnít massive around 7 3/8 but it is certainly long. 80% of non-structured hats sit on my head like a beanie. When I do find a hat that fits me I buy it in every color. All of my hats are fitted or the stretch fit.

Here is my breakdown:
-> I have 3 Ryder Cup Hats from the last Ryder Cup and they are my best fitting hat made but New Era
-> I have 2 different New Era Blank hats - one is the stretch fit and the other is a 7 3/8
-> I have 5 different colored Titleist fitted hats, three of which that I do not wear often because they sit funny on my head.
-> I have three different colored Travis Mathews stretch fit hats. They sit fine but sometimes the brim looks awkward to me.

The sure fire best is the New Era hats. I am not a huge fan of any one sports team so I really would like to buy some blanks in every color. Who needs a logo?

Have been wearing a Nike classic 99 lately and itís a great hat. XL fits my 7 3/4 melon and itís a tallish hat so it looks good too, really like the mesh back and love the stretch fitted hat style.

For big headed guys who have been wearing one for a while, what else do you guys like?

7-5/8 Long oval here and the Travis Matthews and Adidas from 5 years ago are the best "caps" I've found. I also wear straw hats quite a bit and the Stetson Seagrass Gambler XL has always been consistently large enough to fit comfortably.

Iím 7-3/4 and Black Clover hats (ďGet LuckyĒ) in L/XL fit great. Deeper than other brands.   Titleist flexfit and Callaway flexfit in L/XL fit pretty well though can be too shallow.

I have an occasional golfer at the course who is, not joke, a 9 1/2 hat size.  He's an ex college football player and is a massive man, even at 60+ years old.  And I thought I had a big head at 8.

I'm a 7 3/4. The Puma flat brims are my favorite. They are Flexfit 110 snap backs so if you don't like Puma you can find others in that style. The Nike Aerobill snap back will fit too.
