I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and have booked a family Disney vacation for April 24th - May 3rd and was wondering if any fellow GolfWRX'ers can swing me any deals for:
1. car rentals
2. Disney attractions/passes
3. Sea World
and of course
4. golf at a championship course for a couple/few days. Maybe pencil me in as a fourth???
I have a vacation home rented at The Retreat at Legacy Park, Davenport, but that is about it for now. Was hoping some of you could hook a Canadian up with some good deals. PM or post here, either way is fine with me.

I dont know about any deals but I have been to disney a ton and you should definitely take the fam.
Im not sure about deals for disney but you could not purchase the park hopper option which can save you some money. That means if you visit Magic Kingdom for the day, that is the only park you can visit for that day, you cant deiced in the afternoon to go to MGM.
For golf disney has some nice tracks. Magnolia and the Palm are the only 2 ive played and both nice.
Sorry I dont know about to many deals for disney, maybe you are going in the offseason and park passes will be cheaper

It has been a while since I last was down there, but I found that the cheapest most convienent deals are actually through Disney. It might have been due to when we booked but I had a killer deal staying at the disney resort. It eliminated the need for a rental car (but if your looking to play something non Disney, you might need one to get there, i'm not sure)

Thanks guys and gals, keep the info coming. I have ahome rented for 9 days and am planning on a rental car for sure. i only plan to do Disney 2-3 days then plan to do Sea Worls and other attractions as well as play non-Disney courses 2-3 rounds. Hopefully someone can shoot me some deals on renatals (car), attraction tickets, as well as some golf.
Thanks again

you're going about a week too early as they're still in peak season in terms of rates until May 12th so expect to spend $$$$ if you're going to play a Disney course
I will recommend the "Twilight Special" however, as its much cheaper and I think the courses are MUCH less crowded
As for Disney if you've never been, be prepared, there's SO much to do and its REALLY easy to have a miserable time if you don't have some idea of what it is you want to do. Before you head into a park, make a mental checklist/ranking of the things/rides your family absolutely must do, would like to do, and could miss if needed. That way you don't wind up at the end of the day sitting in some 95 minute line cause you forgot to do what someone wanted. When planing be aware that you will NOT get everything done, my family goes every year for 16 days(all at Disney) and there's ALWAYS things that we wish we could have squeezed in.
MAKE USE OF THE FASTPASS SYSTEM(gives you line cutting privileges at a certain time) whenever possible, for example at Magic Kingdom get a fastpass for Space Mountain and then walk over and stand in the 15-30 minute line for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. By the time you finish Buzz your fastpass time will be ready for Space Mountain and you can walk past all the people standing in the 45-50 minute line and get right on the ride. There are multiple places you can use this strategy at in each park like Mission Space/Test Track at Epcot, and Tower of Terror/Rockin' Rollercoaster at Hollywood Studios. Be warned though, on the popular rides the Fastpass's will be gone very quickly.
I could go on and on about what to do and what to see but if you really want more inside info on Disney then PM me or head over to www.disboards.com, but beware; they take Disney as seriously, if not more seriously then we do golf!!!
