Just bought the 2017 M2s with XP 95 S300 shaft.  Having a hard time getting used to these clubs. Just do not like the feel. Came from Burner 2.0s(of which I loved) and have a 17 handicap. Looking for ideas of what to try out instead.

I would try the new Tailor Maid P790 irons.  They are a excellent feeling iron since they are a cheap knockoff of the PXG irons which are the best feeling irons I have ever played.

The cast irons like the M1/M2 don't usually have a soft feel...more harsh/firm feel.

I liked the feel of the CF16's and JPX 900F the most.  JPX900 HM are stupid easy to hit and go really far tho, if that's what you're looking for.

Thought 790's are more of a players iron. Not sure If Im ready for that yet!

Great!  Here is a review of them in comparison to the PXG 0311XF, which is have a couple of and they are very nice feeling.
The P790 is close in feel and nearly the same in performance!

M2s were my first set of clubs, and the same, I never really liked how they felt. Went to a range that let you demo anything they have. Give the Srixons 565 a try. I liked those a lot. Didn't like the P770s. Keeping an eye on the P790.

It's down to the z565 and P790 once I can give those a try.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the G400s. I am extremely impressed with the technology of the driver that I figured I would give irons a chance. I tried out the P790s last night and although they seem forgiving- probably not as forgiving as the G400s. When making good contact, had a great feel, when you missed- you knew it. Still a beautiful iron and I'm sure people with a slightly higher handicap then me will really enjoy.

Good choice. The M2 irons (for me ) were the worse feeling irons I've ever hit.

I have a excellent short game. It's unfortunate that it starts on the Tee.

If you liked the Burner 2.0, you will also like the M2 Tour. I'm a big fan of both.
