After doing some research I've decided that If I ever stumble upon titleist 690mb, mizuno mp-33, or mizuno mp-32 irons locally for a good deal I would jump on them. I recently found mp-32 in 5-pw that are in decent shape. Only problem is they are r300 shafts and my driver ss is between 110-115. For 70 dollars is it worth buying and potentially reshafting? Thanks in advance and I am currently gaming ping I-25 in kbs 100 stiff shafts.

Driver: Ping G LS 11.1 deg
3 wood: Ping G 14.5 deg
Irons 2-pw: Mizuno MP-33's
56deg wedge: Vodkey SM5 M grind
Putter: Ping Cadence TR

Simple answer is yes. If the heads are in decent shape and don't have too much wear i would get them and then find a deal for 1-time pull shafts that you like, and then you have a great set.

Yes they are worth it.  I regret selling mine.  But I literally just opened up a box a minute ago that was on my doorstep.  MINT MP-60s, 3-PW.  Favorite irons ever, 32s second!

I did exactly that. Plus I learnt to re-shaft irons in the process, and I now have a blowtorch in my basement whenever I need it!

Thanks for all the responses I'm on my way to get them now. Only paying 60 dollars for 5-pw. What is a rough estimate to reshaft 6 clubs?

So bringing it to the shop will cost you at least 10 each in service fees.

Doing it yourself, the breakdown is something like
Blowtorch- <20
Sandpaper ~2
Ferrules- <10
Epoxy- ~8

So all in all, about 40 bucks, but you'll be left with the tools to do more in the future. I just used the blowtorch to torch a chunk of pork belly...

Of course, I didn't include new shafts, which'll run you in the high 20s up each shaft.

If you decide to swap out your PING shafts then I guess its a different story.

I would say no.

I reincarnated my MP60 to Nippon shafts but once I continued to want the most out of my game; I just ended up buying the 900T in the amt shafts.

By the time you calculate the price of shafts and labour, how far off are you from buying new irons that would include the shaft name of your choice at no up charge?

Thanks again for the opinions I appreciate it. After hitting them at the range I'm going to just keep the shafts but I will need to regrip the 6 clubs since they are medium grips with an extra roll and feel really fat in my hands and I don't have big hands. I just bought my I-25 less than 5 months ago so im not Going to be in the market for new clubs anytime soon. I shot in the 80s consistently but after hitting these and other blades I think My next purchase will also be blades.

I'm jealous.

This is a dangerous place to frequent.

I visited a couple golf shops in Japan a couple years ago.  Beautiful stuff but pricey.  I'm going back in February to Osaka.

I just snagged a mint set of MP32s off eBay, 3 to p for $75!

They are getting harder to find in decent shape, but deals are out there.

The shafts in the set I snagged are also wrong for me, but I learned how to build clubs years ago and have already started prepping shafts to replace the set that they will come with...

That's a hell of a deal.  I would get it just for the heads and find a set of pulled DG S300 or X100s or find a cheapo set that has those shafts and you can pull them and stick it on the Mizuno heads.

Ferrules at Golfworks  66 T I
Look for a Compressor and re grip, re tape, and get some glue and spray bottle with Turps
to help get the grips on.
If you can re shaft, re grip, saves lots of money.
Can;t go wrong MP 32/33
