PGA Value Guide running a 30% bonus on trade-ins when selecting credit. The 30% extra comes when you select Global Golf credit at the end.

Wow! Their values are WAY less than CPO. Even with the trade in bonus going on. (at least for the clubs I checked)

Callaway Big Bertha Epic 4Hy w/ Recoil 760 Black F3
Callaway Apex CF16 5-PW w/ Recoil 760 F3

I found a couple things that were still more valuable using GG 117% trade-in promo running currently through 9/18 so it's worth comparing the two.

But their trade in values are 15% less than PGA (for a few items I checked) - so....

They (PGA VALUE GUIDE) were at least 10% lower on a variety of clubs that I ended up trading with 3balls during their recent 115% bonus promo.

Those values were BEFORE the 3balls bonus kicked in...so it made a lot of sense to check each club with the other online outlets to see what they'd give you for it.

In my situation, 3balls gave most bang for buck.

It seems that the values on PGA Value guide are less than that of Global Golf currently for the few items I have tested. However, i found that when choosing the 30% bonus on PGA Value Guide to get a Global Golf certificate, that value equals the same amount one would get directly from Global Golf after their 17% bonus.

One main difference between the two is that Global Golf asks whether the club is RH or LH and the value is less for LH clubs. But, that is no such option on the PGA Value Guide, so which would lead me to believe they will pay the same amount regardless of dexterity. So, if trading any LH clubs, PGA Value Guide with the 30% would give the better value between the two sites.

As an example, I have two Vokey 200 Series Chrome wedges, one LH and one RH. PGA Value Guide has a value of $11.70 each which comes to $15.21 each after the 30% for $30.42 total. Global Golf values the RH at $13 for $15.21 after the 17% and the LH at $9.75 for $11.41 after the 17% for a $26.62 total.

To remove a potential surprise once they have the clubs, I have sent an email over to PGA Value Guide asking if they have any value difference between dexterity even though it is not an option on their site.

Or, you could have just asked here, and we would have said that is not the case.  But now we'll know who to blame if they start paying less for LH clubs compared to RH clubs...

Good point on asking here. But, I would hope that a single inquiry email wouldn't be a reason for them to change, but I guess I will have to take that blame if it happens. However, I did get confirmation from them that they value them the same.

All good--just busting chops.  But as a lefty, it is quite annoying to get dinged on many of the other trade-in sites.
