Sorry if I missed it!

Does anyone know if Titleist will have new stand bags this fall?

How is the new 4UP stadry bag? They used to make the best waterproof bags with Sun Mountain and then they went to the premier version a few years ago and it fell apart.  Titleist was nice enough to give me my money back

Interested in this also. Are there normally new bags/colors every year or is it a 2-3 year cycle.

The new 4UP bag isn't as nice as the old Sun Mountain H2NO bags IMO.

The material is not as waterproof, the 3-way top should have been a 4-way top, and the shoulder straps get tangled up much too easily.

Much prefer the Sun Mountain bags,

This is only a fair comparison if you're specifically talking about the StaDry version of the 4up bag.

Is there a 2018 catalog out? I'm debating getting a 2017 on cheap or waiting til 2018. Long winter so I'm not golfing regardless. Heard nothing but bad things about the current 14 stand--there's things I like and dislike about all of them but I can get a deal at my course on them.

Disappointed in the '17 designs, even more disappointed that they didn't change them for '18...the previous models were the easiest sell on the market.

The catalogue is usually out earlier in the year than this. Aside from the staff bags, there were many complaints about the quality of the 2017 bags (see this forum). Maybe they are switching suppliers again and that's leading to delays - pure speculation!

Agreed. I bought the Premier in late 2016, brand new, from a closeout sale. It was falling apart by the middle of this year. Titleist customer service came through (thank you very much) and replaced it with the 4UP bag. Thank goodness I still had the original receipt because I think the Premier originally came out in 2014. But I bought it from an authorized Titleist store so they honored the warranty since it was less than 12 months from time of purchase.

The 4UP isn't perfect, but certainly better than the Premier. What I dislike the most is the 3-way top. I really prefer a 4-way top. Also I don't think the waterproofness of the 4UP is as good as Sun Mountain, but as we are heading into winter in the Pacific NW, I will find out soon enough how good/bad the 4UP is in the rain...

So I'm thinking I've found something of interest....new Players 4 perhaps? Or is this Hybrid bag just an international version that has already been out?

Those do have a look of “newness” to them. If the first two, the black and white, are waterproof, then they’ve made some big changes to the Stadry bags.

I have the Players 5 Stand bag for 5 months now and like it.  Only one issue.  Due to the design of the integral stand system, sometimes clubs get stuck.  Other than that its a sturdy, well made bag.

I had the Players 5 StaDry Standbag. I just sold it because the pockets were too small. I don't take a lot of junk with me, but, I just couldn't get everything in (in a reasonable manner) - Rain jackets, water and lunch are just too much. The 2016 model was much better in this regard. One more lesson learned on the way to finding a perfect carry bag ...

I didn't really like the last two generations, and the current stand bags at least look the worst ever. The Sun Mountain 2017 lineup had the best Stand Bags i've ever seen. This season was the first in years that I didn't carry a Titleist bag.

Does anyone know who makes the current Titleist bags?

I don’t know, but whoever it is seems to make the Ping and new Mizuno bags as well. They all have that internal foot-stand action and the identical 360* ball pocket zip with the little Velcro side tabs. Same zipper pulls, same waterproof pocket welding.

I used the Players 5 stand bag this year.  It was a swing and a miss for me.  The straps twist when you put on the second strap.  The zipper pulls get hung up.
I am big fan of the big T but this one was not their best effort.

Those look pretty good. I think the 4Up looks so much better than the Players 4 and 5. I don't like the diagonal long pocket on the Players 4 and 5.

This is just cleaner.

It's just the nature of bags with a tilting-floor stand mechanism, once they are stuffed full of clubs.
Everything has its drawbacks, as the man said when his mother-in-law died, and they came down upon him for the funeral expenses.

I fixed that same issue with mine. Just slide the black rectangular piece of plastic up on the two metal bars that kick out the legs. It will tighten the hold and keep the legs hugging the bag so the donít hang when waking with the bag on.

That works as well as making sure shoulder straps are the proper length.  Legs bothered me till I shortened the straps which pulled up the bag to set properly in the arch of my back, club head end slightly above level.  No problem.
