Anyone have experience with this particular model? On the sleeves, they are listed as 70 compression and have green numbers.

I bought 5 dozen for $71 on eBay after seeing them at Walmart. Hope I didn't make a mistake. Can't be bad for $14/dozen, right?

I have never played this ball, but I remember hearing this was the Project "A" before there was a Project "A"

I am sure for $14 you should be happy.

The RBZ U was a very good ball for this higher handicap - straight off the tee and held the greens well.  The Project a has too much spin in comparison for my swing off the tee.

I got some on clearance at Wal-Mart about 2-3 years ago. Still playing them. Good spin, nice feel, and they putt well.

I agree. The Project A spins way too much off the tee for me. The RBZ U (I have used it in the past) is very good off the tee but maybe marginally less spin around the green. Great ball (especially for that price).

Is the model in the link what others have played? I can't find any info on this specific model anywhere online--even pictures of this box. There seems to have been other models in the past. These have a green and white standard sized box. The numbers on the balls are green. The sleeves lost the compression as 70.

The seller listed them as the new 2017 version. I'm not sure if that is accurate. You'd think there would be plenty of info if that were the case.

If they were strictly made for Walmart and a few select retailers , they may not publish info on purpose, to protect their other balls at the major big box golf stores.

make sure you dont confuse , as stated earlier in this post, the RBZ and the RBZ Urethane...the latter being the ball you want

I know. I posted a link to the auction I won. They're the Urethane's. I can find no information about his model anywhere. It apparently exists only at my one specific Walmart and in this eBay auction. Glad I saw them at Walmart or I'd worry they were fake.

Released in 2013 to replace the Penta TP3. The Project(a) replaced it in 2014. Most would be hard pressed to distinguish a difference from the 2014 Project(a).

Are you sure these are the same? When I Google search images and reviews, I find yellow long boxes and purple long boxes. The numbers are red on the balls. I can't find any that match these.

I think these may actually be new 2017 models which makes it odd that they aren't listed on the TM site. Amazon has two other RBZ models that are listed as 2017. They look to have similar box designs.

For $20 if they have them at my local Walmart I will take em for a test drive.

US Walmart (WI).

They are $26.95 per dozen. I moved them for the photo. The yellow box is apparently the same model but several years older. Must have been siting around.

IMHO any Urethane ball under $25 a dozen should be worth the investment. Nice feel and decent spin on the green.

Looks like a rebadged Project(a) for sale at discount retailers. OEMs do this to offer lower price points to high volume accounts while maintaining the MAP limits for primary line SKUs for their smaller accounts.

If I see them at my local Walmart I will give them a try.  Hopefully it is more like the original RBZ U than the Project a.

Or since nothing is known about these my competition wasn't fierce. They set the starting bid at a buck with no reserve.

Got the balls. Not sure when I'll be able to put them through their full paces. I putted and chipped today. The feel nice are relatively soft off both. They seemed to perform well in the limited testing.

These were really nice balls and were the precursor to the the Project A ball, which is also very good.  I played them when they first came out and really liked them.  Good overall flight and very nice around the greens too.  Good price, I don't think you'll be disappointed.  Now I typically play the Snell MTB but occasionally switch to the latest Project A ball.  I believe Dean Snell was involved with the design of all of them anyway so they would likely be similar.

So my local Walmart has them but not willing to pull the trigger for $26 when I have a surplus of balls as it is.

I did bounce one next to an old version and was very soft.  The cover looked identical to the Ksig (made at the same factory I am pretty sure) but is a 3 pc softer ball.   Maybe this is really a Ksig-Soft?

Heck, maybe this is really the new Ksig coming out next month??
