I was able to play in my club championship this year for the first time in over a decade.  I didn't feel a played my best, but did play well enough to win.  Afterwards, I was thinking about it and realized how big a part WRX played in it all.  So for that reason, I wanted to make this post to thank the site/community and share my trophy with you.  I feel it was a team victory.

First a big thanks to the creators/hosts/moderators for starting GolfWRX, keeping it running, adding fresh and new content and giveaways to keep us all coming back (sometimes every couple of minutes) and turning it into the wonderful place it is today.  Secondly, my fellow members.  Don't know where I would be without all of your insight and help.  Thanks to the information on this site I have a full workshop in the basement and do all of my own club work (and some fro friends and family) in my home.  I have learned many tips and techniques from hanging out in the club techs area and also was able to get advice on what tools from what company that i should be looking into to outfit my shop.  I have also learned much from the equipment threads and hangout sections on here about what is current in the golf world and what is upcoming from manufacturers.  I live in a small town and there isn't really anyone at my home course that is in any way, shape or form an equipment junkie.  There are only one or two that i know of that any club building/gripping knowledge.  So with out GolfWRX i wouldn't be doing my own work, because i wouldn't know where to begin.  The only somewhat downside would be the mass quantities of grips, shafts and club heads laying around my basement thanks to the BST.  Speaking of the BST, looking through the bag, my driver shaft was bought from a member, my iron shafts were bought from a member, my 3 & 5 wood heads were bought from a member.  I have a couple of putters that were also bought from here, but were not in play for that particular weekend.  The knowledge i gained from the club building section played a pivotal role as well since my irons, wedges, and fairway woods were all built/assembled by me.

All this is why I wanted to thank you all and share my victory and trophy with the community.

Thank you for your time, advice, help and encouragement over the hears

Well done.

Now you have to find a place for the good looking trophy.  I'm glade it was not a shinning gold tone anything.
