Has anyone seen the new bags? Any significant changes to the 4 Series and Hoofer or just updated colors?
Thanks

Hoofer and 4 series are both great bags. I just wish the color combinations weren't so....not to my liking.

Agree with everyone, my Hoofer is an awesome bag. There's not much I'd change about it, but I do wish the colors were a little more attractive. I'm probably getting close to due for a replacement, I'll be looking forward to what is coming. I'm thinking about lightening up and going 4 Series next go round. I walk more than I ride, and I think I can live with a little less storage. Though, here in NE Ohio, there's only about 4 months a year that you don't need to pack some layers and rain gear.

I wish the Hoofer 14 were full length dividers.  Not sure why companies would choose against full length.  I doubt it would increase weight by much

Too bad they don't make a lightweight bag anymore. Since they dropped the L8 everything seems to be over 5+ pounds except for the arrow quiver moonlite

I wish they would offer the same color combinations in all of the models. Prefer the pockets on the Hoofer, but prefer the 4 way divider on the 4 series. Would like to see a few lighter color options, seems like most of the color combos are dark

I really liked the solid colors in the older Hoofers. Liked the Navy blue, and the green. Also liked the old style barrel style headcovers. Would love to see them make those again.

The only shortcoming was it needed 1 more pocket. I use a ping valuables pouch hung from the towel loop as my extra pocket.

You would have to assume the Blue colorways from the G series would be leaving in favor of the Copper from the G 400's?

I just swapped my Callaway ORG 15 for a 2017 Ping Pioneer and its like night and day. The Pioneer is a great bag. They'd have to work really hard to improve them for 2018.

they do need better color options and some lighter ones. It's like all dark options and one with red white and blue US open look. They use to have really good color options but alot of them where light colors and there was complaining of them getting dirty fast so I think that is the reason

Definitely understand the getting dirty part, I have those issues myself right behind my back where the bag hangs(below the padding). Walking, sweating, leather belts just don't make a great combo. Would like to see some bags with a darker base color but some lighter secondary colors.

Anyone else have any information on the 2018 hoofers as far as colors go?

I really like the 2017 black/grey/lime but that's only on the hoofer14 model and I'm not sure if I want the 14.....

I need a new bag but I want to wait to see what the 2018 lineup has to offer before I buy.

No but sounds fairly soon as rep indicated that the website will reflect  them soon and they should be in stores  "January or February depends on store". Since I'm in Canada I'd expect them them perhaps to show up earlier in stores in US a bit earlier. I have started seeing "out of stock" for Traverse bags on some internet sites so maybe it's going to be soon at least for the website.

I phoned Ping as mostly I was hoping they might be updating the Traverse putter well and the fastener for the two slots beside the putter well. Some like me have noted those two slots  don't stay in place at times for getting clubs out with the velcro fastening.  My 2014 model does that better and I passed that along.

Well, for starters it probably is a no-brainer that some copper accents will be  on bags vs blue with the new G series clubs out.
Not my “bag” but I’m an old duffer and prefer black ( more slimming to boot lol).

Any changes to the 4 series or hoofer?
Need to get some better colors...the options now are just awful.

I agree 100%.  The colors that are out now are horrible.  I’ve almost been tempted to get an ALL black Hoofer because of the available colors now.

I thought the new bag line came out in September/October time frame....?

According to 2016- and 2017 release dates (early/mid october) we can expect pics of the new 18 bags any time now..
I am about to pull the trigger on a black/black and grey DLX bag.

Think I have convinced myself to, at least, wait for pictures of the new line before I make my final decision.
