Found a Tour on the course today (maybe from this Dick's sale; never seen a Maxfli ball before at all) and it looked to be a couple-hit-wonder with a big scuff from either the cart path or a wedge. Played it for a few holes before I lost it. Cover doesn't seem to be a very durable and I didn't care for the feel. It's a good deal but I may swing by Dicks to check out the Tour Soft instead.
I lost bunch already haha. Are you in DFW area?

Just played 48 holes with these balls in the last two days and wow the tour ball was far better than I expected. Could play these all the time. Didn’t find them to lack any performance.

I felt the same way about the U6 Tour Soft that I just put in play.  Pretty much anything I look for in a ball.  Minimal sidespin and good feel and distance with the driver; good feel, distance and stopping power with irons; good greenside spin; feels nice off the putter.  As good as it gets IMHO at $15/dozen.

Played the U/6 Tour Soft yesterday and shot a personal best -2 70 at a pretty tough track.  Love this ball.

Another vote for the Tour Soft. Didn't scuff any off wedges, the only durability issue I've found so far is slight chipping of the cover paint after a few hits, showing the yellowish layer underneath. I believe the sale goes through 9/30.

Got my 8 dozen personalized u6 tours earlier in the week and finally got out to play today. They performed great all day. I didn't lose a ball until I got a little too aggressive on the 18th tee box. If I can get 17 holes per ball, 8 dozen is going to last me forever, lol.

I don't think the $20 off applies. Says it can't be used with other offers and it doesn't work for me.

Still, $113 for six dozen isn't terrible either.

I noticed that too but I can't get the coupon to work online. The details say not valid on BOGO deals. Anyone tried the coupon in-store on these?

My one local store pretty much accepts coupons on any purchases and the other one is pretty strict. I think it depends on how your store is run.

Used to like Maxfli's a long time ago. How do they compare with other premium balls?

I ordered a bunch of the Tour Soft personalized for the old man and they sent Maxfli Softfli instead. They made it right but was really looking forward to stealing some of those from him

U6 is 2 for $35 right now.  Awesome deal!  I recommend the Tour Soft version, which is not mushy soft or anything.  Just a nice softish feel.  Great ball.

I got in for a couple dozen of these when I first heard about the deal. I actually didn’t think they were that bad, a 6pc urethane ball for 30 for 2 fox why not, then for the hell of it I went back to my usual gamer mid round yesterday, the new Z star that I stock piled during the 9.99 performance pack time and the difference wasn’t even comparable. The Z star went further, felt better off iron faces, checked better with wedges 49-57, sounded better and wasn’t as clicky off my betti. I don’t regret buying them but it’s not in the same ballpark as the Z star
