Got mine in the mail and just got back from the range.  My swing isn't the best right now, but I don't think the HZRDUS hybrid shaft agrees with my swing.  I had it in my King Utility and I could never make solid contact with it.  The same goes for the M2 LIFT.  I only flushed one shot out of probably 50.  Lots of toe-y hooks.

I grabbed my UDI with a Tour Ad driving iron in it and I was flushing almost every shot with it.  I might be pulling out another AD DI shaft I have in an old hybrid I have and put it in the M2 LIFT.  But pretty disappointed by it after the first session.

Is the m2 lift and UDI the same overall length?

I just checked the specs on the M2 LIFT and it is 39.75 inches and D1.5 on swingweight.  My UDI is 39.5 inches and D2.5 on swingweight.

The m2 lift should play at D2, but I still don't think that will make a drastic impact at 1 point of swing weight.  I agree that you just get along better with the UDI shafted with the AD DI shaft

I can very much see this shaft not fitting everyone.  Had a few people hit mine last night on the range and while everyone liked the club and the concept a couple guys really hated that shaft.

I lucked out as this thing is just perfect for me!  The more I hit it the more I like it!  Just low strait bombs with a nice roll out if it's teed low and teed high I can get them to land nice and soft.  I could not ask for a better fit.

You might want to try the KBS hybrid shaft, it was a popular choice among the TaylorMade guys in this club and long irons.

It is weird because I play the HZRDUS black in my driver and fairway wood and love them.  I thought the hybrid would be the same.  I guess not.  Going to put in the Tour AD DI Hybrid shaft in it tonight and then give it another go at the range on Wednesday.

Yes...I think it launches higher than the Hazerdous.  One of the guys on the trip (Mike) got to hit it in the LIFT and said it was unreal, he was getting 3-wood distance with it.

My 2 iron was delivered yesterday and I went straight to the course. This club is exactly what I hoped it would be. Great from the tee or off the turf and easy to hit. The only negative I can think of is that the club is a little light in the hands.

I hit the range but and the club is noticeable lighter than my irons which is alright but may change that a touch. Distance shocked me and it was long when hit super solid. I'm not sold on the shaft just yet but it wasn't bad and maybe more time to get familiar with it might be what I need but it could just be that it's an 85 grams and not a 95 or 105 that I'd prefer since I'm more a heavier kind of guy in somethings. The offset isn't bad at all and looks good at address. I'll play this week and test on course results but initial results were good since the range was straight into the wind today.

So, I've played two rounds with the 19 in the bag and so far I'm loving it. I've played the hzrdus black in other hybrids before and I've liked it. It works well in this club. It's good off the tee but the biggest surprise has been the results off the deck. It's launches at a nice mid-high trajectory and just wants to go straight for me. I pulled my 19 degree hybrid out for this club and I think it's going to stick. I'm not giving up distance but I feel like I can punch this out of sketchy lies in the rough a little better. I'm going to give the 2 a whirl and see if it can replace my 17 hybrid but on the launch monitor the 2 didn't launch high enough for me to get the carry numbers I was looking for off the deck. I'll have to see what it does off the tee but I'm thinking the 2 might be moving on soon.

The club definitely feels light in the hands as others have stated.  Going to have to add some weight to the head when I swap shafts.  I would like to get the swingweight up to around a D4 like my other irons.

Not sure why I ordered a 3i 1* strong 790. This LIFT may not leave the bag.

Started out on the range, hit a handful of balls then hit the course and played 9. Hit the 2i on 5 holes off the box, every time straight, every time long. Surprisingly, getting some nice trajectory on this thing, maybe 5 iron height. Is it light? Maybe for some but, feels nice to me.

Finished with a 37 (nice wedge shank on 5, idiot). And it felt very easy because that 2 kept me in the FW, didn't have to scramble for par because of driving mistakes. Will try it from the turf tomorrow, loved it off the tee.

Yeah, sorry that I haven't chimed in here for awhile.  Wrote a quick review in the Forged Experience thread.  Was fortunate to hit the LIFT with both shafts and definitely preferred the KBS.  Just fit my swing better.  Nice little baby draws that had a surprising height to it and flew as long as my 3wd. That said the one I hit with the KBS was bent a little stronger than the 16* you get with the stock 2 iron. That said, if someone told me that there was a club that was over 3" shorter than my 3 wd and only a degree stronger, I'd tell them it doesn't exist.  But it's true. All of it. I shafted mine up with a 95 gram Tour AD DI hybrid shaft that I have.  Going to go to the range tonight after work and see how it goes.  Swing weight ended up being D0.  I am going to have to add some lead tape to get it up to at least a D2.

Just got done at the range.  This thing came alive for me with the tour ad di shaft.  I was hitting these crazy 230 yard stingers with tons of roll out off the deck.  Off the tee was this nice mid/high piercing shot that seemed to go on forever.  Definitely happy now with the club after the shaft switch.

Was there any issue with the re shaft with that "plastic" piece near the bottom of the hosel?  I like the stock shaft but have a D+ that I want to try in this also.

No I didn't have any issue reshafting it.  I used a torch to do it.  I made sure to keep the flame aimed at the upper part of the hosel.

Swing weight on my 2 iron is D0, that would explain the light feeling.

You might want to try the KBS hybrid shaft, it was a popular choice among the TaylorMade guys in this club and long irons.

I saw a 105 gram version of that KBS proto in Si Woo Kim's utility on this site. Just an FYI, not sure if or when they'll ever release it, might be a custom order. But it seems like a good fit for a driving iron.

Was able to hit mine today for the first time, 3 iron.  Its def light, its noticeable.  The ball flight was higher than I expected, even off the deck.  When the wind is down this will be in the bag, unfortunately I was hoping this was my wind club that would hit the low bullet but with this shaft I'm not getting those results.  Will be hunting for a new shaft, that KBS Hybrid is intriguing........

I played today with mine and it was solid. Not a fan of it being so light but I'm thinking of the atmos black 95 or something at least 95 but most likely 105. It's a bomber of a club. Only missed 1 fairway with it and it's because it didn't fade but it was a straight bullet.

Sacrifice #1.  Just got my 2i and can't even unwrap it because its going back...  my dog got hit by a car tuesday night and we have incurred some substantial and unexpected costs.  Too much guilt in keeping this club at this moment.  Hopefully it will still be available in a few months when things get back to normal around here.  :(

The TM guys were using the 85g KBS proto hybrid shaft, which just really launched the ball.  They didn't say if this would be in the 790 UDI

Hate to see what seems like a great buddy in poor shape. They'll be many 2-irons to come. But in this slimy world your canine homie is far superior
