Only in golf would that little spat with MAJ be a "thing."

"Shut up."

"Don't tell my man to shut up."

Wah wah, I won't shake your hand properly.

I don't judge Keegan for defending his caddie, choosing Pepsi as a caddie is another thing.  But, he's since rectified that decision.

Can't stand to watch the guy play.  The less he is on my TV the more I'm likely to watch.

I don't know why so many Keegan haters.  I don't know much about him.  But I guess he must be having a terrible time.  He hasn't been in the limelight for years.  It's tough for a pro golfer to not be able to get back on track, especially when you used to be one of the leading players in your prime.

You never know how the anchoring ban has affected him, but it must be something to do with his decline.

He is a complete head case and a first class jerk-off. He also likes to play golf with Michael Jordan so that is all you really need to know. I wish back in May 2015 that Jimenez had put out one of his cigars on his forehead.

This post really proves a lot.

I like Keegan and I have severe OCD as he does. I'm just a hacker, and it messes with my game. I can only imagine how bad it could mess with a guy who has to do it for a living.

He hasn't been the same since the long putter was banned.

Early on Phil guided Kegs and he did well as Phil would play practice rounds together, generally help him adjust to tournament life and teach him where to hit the ball on fairway and greens.

Phil taught him to hit fairways and greens.......there you go then, close the thread !

One thing to consider.   Gambling has been a problem in his life.   And guess who he used to gamble with on a regular basis?

Full circle, Keegan, things always come full circle in life.

Even us amateurs know it’s hard to concentrate and play consistently.   Imagine a professional – geez? There could be other “factors” at work making it difficult for him to play consistently.

All we can hope is that these “factors” aren’t too serious and that good golf is right around the corner.

As others stated.. his game is fading from where it briefly was, pretty simple. Average golfer who got hot and is now back to where he belongs, which is not in the winners circle, but middle of the pack. Heck, at over $15M won on tour, I'd say that's pretty good actually.

Not everybody can be Tiger you guys. Just like not everybody can be a Dr, a lawyer or some fancy exec. The world needs those min wage burger flippers as much as the tour needs the guys who finish T37 every week.

But, remember ye fellow buffoons, it's always applicable and appropriate for the mob to pile on the adulations after a guy wins.

Hosesay Meriah Olasabow had that foot problem years ago but that didn't stop him from winning second Augusta Masters in 1999.
Keegan doesn't have a foot problem, to my knowledge.

Sadly, Keegan is a victim of the non-anchoring rule...just didn't adapt very well to a non-achored style of putting!.. :not_i:

Average golfer who is in the top 50 in the fedex cup? Give me a break.

He may not be an elite top 10 player but he is far from average.

Is he still seeing McLean?  Wonder if he has spoken on KB's play?  I can just hear him say 18 times a round "oh s*** now I have to use the putter."

Sadly, Keegan is a victim of the non-anchoring rule...just didn't adapt very well to a non-achored style of putting!.. :not_i:

:golfer:

There's a non -anchoring rule??? Quick, someone tell Berhard!!

I agree with those who point to the anchoring ban.  Keegan went from a top 20 play to a journeyman.  HIs 5-8 foot putts were automatic when he anchored, now not so much.  The rest of his game is still pretty much the same.  As others said before the ban took place, that players who never won without anchoring, will never win after the ban.  Clark, Peterson, Keegan.  On the other hand, Adam Scott had won without anchoring before the ban and won again after.

He hasn't been the same since the long putter was banned.

Early on Phil guided Kegs and he did well as Phil would play practice rounds together, generally help him adjust to tournament life and teach him where to hit the ball on fairway and greens.

Unfortunately, although Phil tried to take him under his wing, they had a falling out. Since then he's been pretty much on his own and hasn't done as well.

It started long before that.

Other things were going on while Phil was mentoring Kegs. Phil tried for months but Kegs wasn't listening and learning the lessons.

I don't think the anchoring ban has anything to do with his play.  He couldn't putt before the ban if I'm correct and I believe his aunt told him so.  Shot three great scores and then an 80, what does putting have to do with that?
