I did multiple searches but couldn't find anything...

ADIZ.PNG

Looks like the come out in October and are a higher launching, lower spinning shaft than even the AD-DI. They are also made with the same materials, or at least many of, as the t1100 HZRDUS shafts.

Anybody know anything else?

Are these in the $380 range, or is this an even more expensive line?

That material was in the GP tip section also and maybe the TP so this might be a higher launching version of those

only according to their chart. based on their info this would launch higher than the AD-DI and AD-TP, but spin as low or lower than both, even in the 70g version.

There is no such thing as a high launch, low spin shaft. At best the DI is mid-mid/low. I play it and love it, but the description is just marketing. Perhaps the IZ will be closer to mid/high-mid.

Readily available Tour AD-TP still being slept on...

True mid launch/low spin and oozes feel. People still haven't hopped on the wagon. Driver or fairway, simply perform. Only thing missing is the big AD DI kick. These shafts can hang with almost anyone in the X flexes and perform on normal and full tilt swings.

Based on their simplified charts, I don't really think so. They are showing it to be stiffer in most of the areas by comparison. Looks to be for a bit stronger of a player or one that likes a stiffer feel on most parts.

Could be reading it wrong, but it is a little softer across the sprectrum than the GP correct?

I think you will find this new shaft is an updated DI-like shaft. Based on the chart, it should launch higher than the TP; the slightly softer tip and mid section add launch while the firm butt adds stability.

Looks to be a darker red in the tip yes?  Hard to say on the butt section, would depend a lot on how they measure. You lose part of the butt section when you cut to length(think 46" raw shaft to start), so it could come out stiffer or softer. Stiffness seems to be maintained in the IZ for longer into the middle?  Kinda of have to think of the parts of each section creating the average in each area, so hard to tell.

All speculative of course, I would personally like a much more detailed chart, but this is what is out there.

I saw those too. Just hard to speculate without knowing where the measurments are really taken at. To look at one, you kind of have to look at multiple to get a good reference for each section.

This stiffness rating looks very similar to Miyazaki Kosuma Indigo which is 6-5-5-6. Basically stiff butt and tip and softer mid section. I've had Miyazaki for two years now and it works fine for me. I have a smoother tempo and only 95mph SS though.

So based on the heat chart, the IZ has a stiffer butt section and possible even stiffer tip area, but the kick point is slightly closer to mid.

I think they will perform fairly similarly, if for anything the IZ launching slightly LOWER due to the longer tip area that is stiffer.

Been playing for two weeks now. Best GDI shaft I've played. Kicked my atmos black out of the bag. Looks great in my Epic driver...
