Hard to believe you could get any straighter than what you've been...it's about time you start experimenting with hitting it in the rough....or trees! :tease:

On a serious and related topic...I keep going back and forth between the KK DC XT and the Black Mamba.  I like the feel of the Black Mamba better, but I think the performance is better with KK DC XT.  One of those dreaded catch 22's...performance or feel...?  Easy answer should be performance.

a mix of slept on it wrong and in the gym -- wish it was from too much golf lol

when left with a catch 22 -- always go with what gives you the most confidence.

Are you looking for a black vs black comparison? Please keep in mind this is an early attempt at Synergy and NOT the current Tour proto. We are testing the current proto on tour this week.

Dispersion is really the result of a players comfort zone and ability to deliver the club the same way each time.

I've got the V2 orange vs tour modulous TX Copperhead data done finally. I'll post that by tomorrow morning. I may even start a new thread on it. I even kicked in a standard X at the same tipping just to give a comparison on that as well. Think much more Hzrdus yellow than Orange V2 on the standard X.

I had another customer tell me he only missed 2 fairways in 2 competitive rounds last weekend with Green as well. It has really been very popular. The guys who love Black, REALLY love black, but the Green is very successful as well.

Can anyone comment on how the black 60tx stacks up to the 70tx?

Currently playing a dual core XT, tipped one half inch. I've also played untipped with good success

Thanks!

I've got the data vs KKDC XT here in front of me. I will be posting it and explaining it pretty soon here. Short answer, a bit different feel, different trajectories and still very low spin.

Shaft gets stiff quickly. I have not tested it extensively yet (only one round) but it definitely got tight. Dispersion tightened a bit in my opinion as well. On the GC2 there was a small drop in spin while launched stayed pretty similar. Truthfully I could play either version. Swinging around 112-115 on a good day with a slightly more violent transition. For example, I own a Tensei Orange V2 and the dispersion was not great for me because I was not smooth enough.

Can anyone comment on how the black 60tx stacks up to the 70tx?

Currently playing a dual core XT, tipped one half inch. I've also played untipped with good success

Thanks!

Can you comment on your experience of the dual core untipped vs. tipped 1/2 inch?

Shaft gets stiff quickly. I have not tested it extensively yet (only one round) but it definitely got tight. Dispersion tightened a bit in my opinion as well. On the GC2 there was a small drop in spin while launched stayed pretty similar. Truthfully I could play either version. Swinging around 112-115 on a good day with a slightly more violent transition. For example, I own a Tensei Orange V2 and the dispersion was not great for me because I was not smooth enough.

The DCXT definitely gets stiffer quick with tipping. It's VERY important to get the tipping just right on that shaft or it can turn too low spin quick for a lot of players. Also, spot on with the V2 Orange. It requires a smooth tempo to make the shaft really work. Now saying that, the TX Copperhead is similar performace, but for the guys with a little more oomph in the transition.

X-Torsion Copperhead vs Tensei Pro Orange V2 data. I also included the non Tour modulous X just as a comparison for anyone that has hit it.

sorry rogue silver 70stiff, and really any of the new shafts, what would be similar in feel  with even less spin . the orange looks really good and maybe the green would be the best fit for me.

I would say Green Mamba. And if you really want to cut the spin down, as long as you are 105+, go TX and let's get the tipping right on it so it's manageable.

V2 and TX Copperhead are so close it's crazy. If Copperhead wasn't designed off that profile, it's a massive coincidence.

No problem. We stock them, so if you decide you want to give one a go, let me know. I even have a test shaft or two of each in stock at a discount.
