The C-Series has four heel-toe weighted, pocket cavity putters that are 100% precision milled from 11L17 carbon steel.
The C-Series features a more traditional, recognized head shape, Bettinardi's patented Honeycomb Face for consistent ball striking, optimum offset, YSC True Temper shaft and a Winn AVS17 grip.
C-Series putters feature a plated satin pearl finish.
C01 features rounded edges on the trailing flange, a slightly longer plumber neck for a unique appearance and perspective on the ball, 4° of loft and a 71° lie angle.
C02 features rounded edges on the trailing flange, a standard length plumber "slant neck" for improved framing of the ball, 4° of loft and a 71° lie angle.
C03 features a squared off trailing flange, a standard length plumber neck, 4° of loft and a 71° lie angle.
C04 features a unique rounded “rocker” back flange, an over the hosel standard length plumber "slant neck," 4° of loft and a 71° lie angle.
I recently purchased a used Mizuno Bettinardi C03 in 34" length from Golfbidder in the UK.
I'm very pleased with its performance.
I used to play a Ping G5i Craz-E H, and my length control is way better with the Mizuno.
Plus it's a real beauty with the honeycomb design!
... I guess whomever are voting are Bettinardi fans!!!
I started with a C-04 blade style, and while I think the feel is great, I just have a problem with blades and consistency. I fell for the new BC-3 mallet, and now that is in the bag. My backup is a rife Barbados, which is a tad lighter in sw than the BC-3. Both are - for me - winners.
Have the C-06 model with face balance double bend shaft. It is just like a Cameron Catalina in style.
It has all the characteristics of a great putter for a player.
Love it, and it is better than the BC black carbon series which I tried a while.
Just picked up a C-06h putter. Been wanting to try the face balanced model in this line but the standard weighted ones are too light for me.
Played first round yesterday with it and have never taken to a putter so quick!.....
Look is fantastic with the satin finish. Just moved a Cameron studio select in part due the the high glare factor. Looks real smooth and classy sitting at address, confidence inspiring. The feel is great, soft yet solid and consistant. I tried the BC1 and found it a tad light feeling at contact. All putts felt good. Current putter that is in jeopardy is my Ping Redwood D66, which, when hit pure feels awesome, but can loose something on off center hits. (Even though off center hits with the D66 dont lose much in distance). The C-06 just feels nice all over.
Putter just sits nice at address with the black alignment line a perfect set up for the black sharpie on my ball. Feels real balanced and smooth during stroke. Putted well with it right off the bat. Distance control was very consistant and touch putts came off well.
Not crazy with a white headcover due to it will probably dirty up easy but thats another matter that does not effect performance. Grip feels good but I will need to shorten putter and replace anyway.....there should be more than 2 lengths available as I prefer shorter putters than offered here.
All in all, very happy with purchase, also picked up a Odyssey black #3 to try with this but it never got a chance. Gave it to my buddy after the round, didnt even want to try it after the Bett. Could be just a honeymoon period, you never know, but this is one nice putter and I will give it a serious shot to kick out my Redwood D66 which is one nice putter.
If face balanced is your preference, this putter is a serious no brainer and must be tried. Since no pics of this model above, I added one here.
I own the C-03H 34". I opted for the Heavy model. This is my second Mizuno Bettinardi putter and love the feel of it. I didn't like the longer hosel on the C-01. This putter is easy to line up for a smooth stroke.
Can anyone opine on the blue/white honeycomb Winn AVS17 grip that comes with the C-series? I've got a C-03, but it has a Golf Pride Dual Durometer on it now (I just bought and never have tried the stock Winn); just wondering how the two compare, as I'm inclined to regrip this sometime soon and I'm not sure I want to go to a Winn.
I game the c-04 with the honeycomb grip. I like the tackiness of the grip. The feel is rather soft. The one thing I don't like is it feels rather thin from left to right. Front to back dimension is nice. I have pretty small hands (thank god I have a small wife to go with that problem), and I would like the grip to be bigger. So I can't imagine someone who wears a large or extra large glove being comfortable with it. I think it would feel like choking a toothpick. I will probably shortly be getting it regripped with a golf pride V-Rad, like I had on my old putter.
But as far as the putter itself goes. The C-04 is so clean looking and the feel and swing weight are just money. Highly recommend. Especially since you can pick em up now for around $110 or so on the bay.
Thanks for the thoughts, Rohlio! I love this C-03 -- it feels just perfect so far. I'm not sold on the grip though. And congrats also on finding a compatably-sized wife! ;D

I have the C-4 as well as a BC-3. Talk about differences! I currently have a Rife Black Barbados in the bag, but at home I practice with all three, and dang if that C-4 doesn't keep me interested. I dropped it for a while since the blade style wasn't working for me, but now when I pull it out for a few strokes, it does feel good and I appear to do well with it.
