For the life of me, I can't stop hooking the hybrids I play.  Been loyal to Adams hybrids, and from time to time when they go straight they are cannons.  But I'm noticing more and more that I'm pull-hooking most hybrid shots I take, and it's starting to affect me mentally as the 3 hybrid is an important club for me when I'm playing my home course...it probably gets hit 4 times a round, both from the tee and fairway.

So, what's a good hybrid that seems to have little if any draw bias?  Should I be looking at ditching the hybrid and looking at a 18-20 degree fairway wood to fit this gap?

I would look at a driving iron or something. But, if you want just a stupidly anit-hook hybrid, an older option is the Mp-650. I couldn't hook it if I tried.

Cally Apex are the hybrids I game currently and are the first ones I've hit that feel like they just want to go straight. The others I've tried all seemed to be draw bias as well which didn't fit me well since I already draw the ball.

Does the M1 hybrids have a draw/fade setting?  If so I'd get one of those and put it in draw.

Agree that the Cally Apex is a hybrid that is not inclined to hook.

I think hybrids are not so much hook prone as they just are hyper reactive. They're easy to hit, so they're easy to misshit.

I've yet to meet a hybrid I can't hook off the planet.

Ping crossover might work, it looks like a driving iron but performs more like a hybrid.

What are you playing now ?

Take a look at the weight of the shaft. Most 80 weight shafts and higher won't hook very much.

I assume you meant "fade setting". He wants to STOP hooking the ball.

IMO It's the best. I've had a number of good players that said they hook all hybrids try mine and get one. The 900 is built on a flatter lie and has a more cambered sole.

I've hit the Titleist 818 H2 hybrid in the fade setting and I think it will have the reputation as the least hookable hybrid ever made.

Callaway Apex and JPX 900 are good choices. Both are designed to swing more like irons. I game the Apex 20 degree with Kuro Kage shaft and it can be drawn or faded no problem. Like a forgiving, workable 3 iron. JPX 900 is also similar. I had a Ping G and always hooked it but I have read Ping made a design change and the G400 hybrids have no draw bias, but have not seen one yet. Titleist may also be, have not hit that one.

I have the 900s as well. I wouldn't classify myself as a good player but I usually hit mine straight or a little fade. Occasionally a draw/hook but it's hard for me to hit that with them

I'll back up what others have said about the Ping G hybrid. Only way I've hit this hybrid left is if I put an absolute awful swing on it. My miss with this club is a slight block or cut. I think most ping hybrids after the g25 were great and didn't hook unless you wanted them to.
