PROS
Incredibly easy to hit, great looks in the bag and at address...
Excellent off the tee, off the deck or out of light to moderate rough.
Penetrating ball flight, very easy to get the ball airborne.
Ball lands soft!
Sonartec-branding on a Royal Collection hybrid!
Gets a lot of interest..."WTF is THAT?"
Can be had for $100 or less nowadays!
CONS
Looks may not be for everyone.
Sonartec out of business, so if you fall in love, you may not be able to replace it later.
Gets a lot of interest..."WTF is THAT?"
As far as "workability" I have heard good things, but I am a straight-ball hitter (or a slight fade) so I'm not a good judge of workability.

They are very different clubs. I like the md much better. It has great ball flight/trajectory, looks solid at address, feels solid at impact.
The HB-001 is not distinctive in any way except it has a nice looking headcover.

has the best sound off the face over any hybrid on the market
only about $105, so definetely the best value
great simple headcover, getting a lot of comments on it
great set-up, no offset
goes high and lands soft, also goes further than any hybrid on the market
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I know its made by graphite design , but is it a firmer or softer option. Cant find any info at all on it!
My driver ssr is 92ish and my Driver shaft is a regular Prolaunch Red...

it's one of the best hybrids i have ever tried..
the shaft it's a couple of inches longer than cally or tm
as lenght, i have bought a 21, i have not yet tried it on the course but my idea is that plays longer than a standard 3 iron.. ..
what do you think about how long it palys? i wanted something in between my 3 wood and 3 iron therefore a 19 but the 21 was a real bargain

As far as a previous post on the difference between this and the MD, I find it much easier to hit than the MD.

Lining up the actual clubface by using only the clubface is difficult so I painted a few of the grooves white to see them better for lining up.
Does anyone else have this problem?

21 has upgraded 904hb.....best ever hit by me....piercing flight.....seems like no spin....never slices or hooks.....
much better than md as far as my experience goes......
currently trying out a Titleist 910h w\ ilima shaft....seems longer but with more spin....higher and more lateral ball movement.....
both hb-001 and the 910h have maraging faces....
hard to compare but hb-001 seems noticeably more forgiving but lower launch than the Titleist (likely from shaft)
the Titleist might be extra special with the right shaft for a good player but for typical hacker (over 12 handi) probably better with sonartec.....
best part about sonartec is that you can take an ugly scratched up one from ebay, nuke it with spray type paint remover from autoparts store
and it looks great....don't even need a headcover.....sounds good and goes straight......
hb-001 best for me so far....but i am always flirtin with others.....
oh yea, no doubt if you can't hit a hb-001 hybrid like some of these replies on here then you should consider carrying only 6 iron as your longest hitting club
it is stupid easy to hit, play middle stance or little back and you don't have to even swing hard....
