I’ve read on here for a while about how great Flynn clubs are. How impressed everyone was with those. After seeing pictures of clubs I knew they were beautiful clubs but I was afraid they be too hard for my 7 year old daughter to hit.  I emailed Mike and sent him a video of her swing and told me the specs he would recommend to build. I only ordered a fairway wood, an 8 iron and a wedge to start as an expensive demo set as I didn't think she be able to hit them but knew the UL were too light for her.

I took her to our course where they have a 50 yard pitching area. Had her hit the 8 iron and wedge. I was so surprised how well she hit them, the ball flight how well the ball stoped (granted not a real green). The added weight has seemed to help her swing as she strikes the ball a lot more solid now, better ball flight, even increased distance. These clubs are money!

The fairway wood. We tired OEM drivers Junior f6 but my thoughts is it was too heavy because she never hit it super well. But this fairway wood can’t say enough good things here. Everyone always said how much us kids clubs woods are not good, I just assumed they be okay for my 7 year old. Well she hit the fairway wood about 10-15 yards further than her US kids UL driver. She was crushing that. Can’t wait to see what she does with the Flynn Driver. Needless to say I ordered the rest of the set, most importantly she loves the looks of the clubs. Great clubs, great service, super fast shipping.  Great Great Clubs here.

I bought my 6 year old son a Flynn driver a month ago. Easily gained 25 yards off the tee over his USKids. Not to mention he has less trouble getting it higher in the air. Plus the custom colors were a big hit with him. I definitely will be getting him more Flynn golf clubs

If she gains 25 yards, I would be floored. I would be happy with 15 yards past what she doing with the fairway wood. Can't wait to see how she preforms with these.

I was surprised with the distance improvement he had. It is a bigger club than his US Kids but he is able to swing it better, I guess due to weighting of the club, I am no club expert. But it also gave him a bigger sweet spot and I guess the Titanium if far superior to the Stainless Steel of the US Kids. Either way he went from 40-50 yard drives to 65-75 yards instantly.

My son has had both the Flynn and US Kids clubs. He likes the look of the Flynn clubs better and how you can customize things with the grips and shafts. We have noticed that the Flynn irons tend to be a little heavier than the US Kids clubs and that may be an issue for some. The US Kids irons actually have aluminum shafts where the Flynn irons have real UST graphite shafts. Just the customer service alone has sold me on the Flynn irons. My daughter is 9 and is now playing competitively and I ordered her a set from Mike. I think they were here in less than a week and he gave me a discount for being a returning customer. He customizes everything based on the specs you give him which is something US Kids doesn't do. More kids play the US Kids clubs simply because they are a bigger name. I don't think you can go wrong with either company but for what you are getting Flynn is better IMO.

This is a picture of a 6 iron from the US Kids TS and from the new Flynn set I got my daughter. You can see that the US Kids iron has a little bigger head but it's thinner. The Flynn iron is more compact but thicker. Attached File  IMG_0283.JPG   130.22K   18 downloadsAttached File  IMG_0284.JPG   84.96K   14 downloads

Golfingdawg, how old is your son? Mine is 10 and is currently hitting the ts irons. Thinking of switching to Flynn.

He is 11 but is small for his age. We started off with the US kids Ultralight when he was 8 and then invested in the Flynn clubs shortly there after. He outgrew his Flynn clubs and wanted to go back to US Kids and try their tour series. We got those for him this past Christmas. He likes them ok but said that Flynn clubs were his favorite.

Same here. Mine is small as well for 10. I'm really leaning towards getting him the Flynn irons. He hits the ts irons great but something is just telling me, he would just love the Flynn irons. Your pictures look great of them.

thing with Flynn golf too, is he has at least three different series head. In terms of comparison to the ts one is close to weight one is heavier and one is much lighter. We went with the series 2 with my 7 year old girl. I think they are a little lighter than the TS if my memory is correct.

Plus he can soft step or hard step a shaft. So far we had great results with the clubs. We are getting the rest this week and look forward to seeing her results on the course. Great setup. The woods are incredible. Plus the wedges have a great feel to them.

I don't think you can go wrong with either US Kids or Flynn when its all said and done. I just think the tipping point is that Mike can customize things with his irons and US kids doesn't do that. That is a huge thing for the kids who play competitively. As you mentioned, the wedges are really nice from Flynn as well. I would be curious to hear what others have to say on the comparisons.

Just ordered fairway wood, hybrid, and irons for my soon to be 10 year old's birthday. He already has a shaft from Flynn in an OEM driver.

Mike makes great clubs and we've been really pleased with them so far. I just ordered 2 more wedges for my daughter this week from him.
