I have a 5S on the way for testing! I'll be posting some feedback with launch monitor data against my gamer which is a Helium F5. I'm excited to try it out!

That's what the older 6star does for me.

Mine showed up today! I'll be taking a few swings tomorrow testing against my helium, and then putting it in hands of a few others to get some feedback.

I received the Attas COOOL this past week and put 6X and 7X into play immediately after tipping them up...  There are 3 things that I immediately noticed, 1. FEEEL, 2. SMOOOTH, 3. did I mention FEEEL?  It is NOT counterbalanced which personally gave the club more feel while allowing me to use a more manageable head weight.  I have not tested on our TM4 yet but from initial "eyeball" testing fits within my window/ball flight characteristics.  It is a constant taper design that gives it a much more consistent bend profile... I feel the entire shaft work to deliver energy not just one section.  The tip (straight in driver, 1" tip 3wd) felt very stable.

I've use the Helium for some time now and while that version of the elements would deliver some serious ball speed, it still launched lower than I wanted, and was CB'd.  The Attas COOOL gives me easier launch and is a shaft that I don't feel like I have to swing full throttle.

Early testing is super promising. Going to play some holes today to see how it goes. Smacked a few on the range in my gamer head and was getting awesome feel and some great numbers.

Would love to hear if any of the early testers have a comparison to the Punch.

Attas shafts are awesome but the marketing sucks.  Its really hard to get info and a lot of it is contradictory.  For example, there is a Japanese chart that seems to indicate the shaft is pretty tip soft but according to some one on here who has actually used the shaft it is tip stiff.

I tried the Punch 6X for a bit and never got used to the feel.  The shaft felt as though the majority of the weight was high towards my hands.  The COOOL has better feel and a constant bend profile that helps the entire shaft work together.  I can't tell with the COOOL where it is loading if that makes sense... it just feels like the entire shaft is actually working as one piece.  Most shafts I've experienced all have distinct feel and load profile.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I'll have to get my hands on one and test it out. To those who have hit it so far, would you say it plays true to flex ?

Had my first 18 holes with Coool in play. It did not disappoint! Feel is seriously awesome. I'm trusting it enough to stay in play for my PGA Assistant's Championship on Monday!

Any general feedback you can give as far as feel? Does it kick or is it more of a stable feel? Or something in the middle?

It has a kick, unlike the Punch which I had to try to load.  Feel is fantastic and the ball rockets off the face.  I don't have to try to hit the shaft, it just works, while remaining VERY stable during the swing.  Both driver and fwy feel fantastic.

I've made the switch to shaft/club heads that are more forgiving and easier to swing day in/day out.  Now over 40 yrs old and playing once a week as a club pro, I want everything to feel fantastic every time I play with the confidence that mis-hits will fly tried and true!!!
