Here are the specs from Callaway website with the head weight I measured today. Keep in mind that Epic Star doesn't have adjustable adapter.

I measured US Epic and XR16 at the shop, so there is some tapes on the head. Consider the impact tape as 1~2 grams. I couldn't have a chance to measure the slider weight of US Epic.

Enjoy!

Have you ever seen a Star in person?  Mine measures 2* open and it's not from the Tour.

That's very interesting maybe I just got lucky.  Mine is the only one I've ever seen and I'm very sensitive to face angle.

Maybe I sole the club different but I'm with you in that it's a great club and I think a lot of people would benefit from the bonded hosel. I wish I could get my hands on one locally especially the fairway version.

I've seen and held several Epic Stars and none look closed. Visually sets up straight which means open when you measure it.

That's interesting. I spoke to a Calloway rep here in Japan about the Star, and asked him specifically whether is was closed at address, or draw biased. He said no, that it was exactly the same as the US model, except there was not adjustable hosel/adapter. I've picked up a Star from the shelf and compared it right next to a US model and it *looked* pretty much the same at address, but I cannot guarantee that my eyes will pick up a degree or two of difference.

Also, I suspect manufacturing tolerances come into play here, meaning that both models are the same, give or take a degree (or two).
