I'm in love with my Atmos, but its lighter than your requirement. I bring it up only because my previous 3 wood shaft was much heavier. Took me a few rounds to get used to the lighter shaft but I haven't missed it at all.

I can't think of anything that matchs all your criteria, especially the weight. Matrix Red Tie 8q3 covers all but the weight is 83 grams.....

New MRC Diamana Thump 85.

Great under the radar FW shaft and heavy with the total length only being 43" so the 85x will feel like most 95x at 46". I play the 75x, followed the OEM tipping instruction (important very sensitive to tipping per OEM) and it stripes. Have played three diffrent shafts in my M1's, MRC is the hands down winner. Good luck

Currently gaming Blueboard 103 in the 3 and 5.

Great shaft, and I can get some decent swings out of it. BUT you gotta be a man's man to swing it for 18 holes.

Ultimately looking for something very similar but the slightest of shades lighter and softer.

Thanks for the suggestions ... Keep'em comin'!!

Recently got professionally fitted and put an Aldila Tour Green 75 Stiff into my 3 wood, and it feels amazing. I need a stiff tip to stop from going left, and favor a fade. I think it comes in a heavier weight as well (playing the 85g hybrid in my 816h2).

It doesn't exactly fit your criteria but I've been playing the AD DI and I'm getting outstanding results with it. The combo of that shaft with the epic 3w head is the best fairway wood I've ever played

I've hit the ADDI several times. Didn't do anything for me.

Mid-High bend point I believe with nice high ball flight
I've tipped a little more than recommended because I've built it to a shorter playing length

See sig - 5wood at 41-1/4" with lead tape

I mainly use it off the tee and love it (more to do with the head)

I'm happy to use my 22H with Thump hybrid shaft for my longest shots "off the deck"

Reflections of my time with the MRC Thump 75x

Yes they are all getting sold because I just purchased new wedges and hybrids so some gapping changed and needed a 4 wood instead on 3 & 5

I have played Matrix Black Tie 75x and UST Elements Earth 75x in the same 2017 M1 fairways so have a few impressions on each.

Earth - Nice mid flight and spin, will go left if you lean on it but feels great. Usually don't care enough to comment but the looks are ridiculous

Black Tie - Feels ok and the flight is low as stated, but required little to much in a fairway, off the deck you better be swinging for the fences to get the shaft to help at all. Does go left, probably because again its all nuclear speed.

Thump - Feels  2nd best behind the Earth. Lovely strong mid-mid low flight. Feels heavy and stable but loads great if you follow OEM tipping instructions which is none. Tip has all the goods so the more you take off it actually produces the opposite effect of what you want. My first 3 wood shaft was terrible because i did my own damn thing, lesson learned.

Tour AD 9003 7x (M2 but a few thoughts) - Great ball flight and definite low spin. NO ballooning into strong Texas winds. (None of the three did except UST on hard gusts) Gotta swing this one also, not as tight as black tie but left is my occasional walking pull.

Again IMO the Thump is an excellent FW shaft and with good looks, good value,  and performs like the OG series.

No way! ... I play my 5 Wood at 41 1/4" too! No lead tape, just tip weighting, plays D6.

Just trying to clarify a couple points here, you lost me a bit ...

On the Thump Fairway ....

* OEM suggestion is do not tip it? And you agree with that?

* If you ignore OEM suggestion and you do tip it, the shaft will play softer? You know this from experience?

Again, not trying to be a wise a** but you definitely lost me. :-)

You should check our what Accra has to offer. Some of their older shafts are easily 85 and 95g. I have an 85 m3 Tour Z and an 95g older model.  I use Accra in all of my woods now. Excellent feel.

No brand bias here on this one. Bit desperate here.

I used to be a stud with my fairway woods. A STUD I tell ya ... BUT, I've been a MAJOR dud since the beginning of the season. Ugly, ugly, ugly swings. TERRIBLE shots.

I should also mention...100g graphite shaft is pretty hard to find. Period. They are usually a bit harder to get airborne and such too...have you tried something a bit light...70 or 80gm

Would you guys agree and say this Thump 85 Fairway is Butt Stiff AND Til Stiff?

THANK YOU!!!

Per Russ Ryden on golfshaft reviews, yes the thump has a stiffish butt section

tip is active, almost identical to a Diamana R or I'lima (high launch, low torque design)

I play 80g in Driver and 104g in Hybrids with success. No issues.

I do play everything short though too.

43 1/2" Driver,
42 1/4" 3 Wood,
41 1/4" 5 Wood,
39 1/2" 3 Hybrid,
38" 5 Hybrid,
37 3/4" 5 Iron,
etc.

The Blueboard 103 was based off a recommendation.

I'm thinking 95-97g is the ticket. Proportionally, the Thump 85, which is 89g at 44" raw, would be around a 98-99g shaft IF 46".

I'm thinking this Thump Fairway 85 may be the one. Need more definition of butt stiffness. Gotta be a firm butt.

This makes me a bit nervous, because I am a Kai'li guy in the Driver.

Good luck

I'll second the Thump recommendation.

golflovin2016 - ebay seller has some on a decent discount - new shafts

What is the difference in the graphics he has listed? Two different scheme shafts, one listing.

Tip 1" on 41 1/4" 5 Wood ???

Or ...

Tip 1/2" on 41 1/4" 5 Wood ???

Thoughts?

I would second GMR2iron on the Matrix Red Tie 8q3 .  Newer version of the Matrix 80M4 or even the 70 Q4.

If you like the hefty feel on the fairway wood shafts, I would look into the Nippon Steel , they have quite a few shafts in the 90-100 gm weight range.

Steel Fiber i110 S (Irons & Wedges)

.... You guys with experience ....

Think the Diamana Thump Fairway 85X will work in my Fairways?

HELP!!!! .... PLEASE!!!!

I'd guess the butt is stiffer on the Fubuki than the Thump as the Fubuki ax is more like a blueboard than the Thump

You saw the Russ Ryden review that I sent you?

Rombax P95 is the only shaft that fits your criteria. Leave it untipped or minimally tipped.
