S60 is new, and I don't think anyone has used it yet to review it. It does look like an improvement over the S6.
The S6 is however, very good.

I think the s60 mainly adds the fitness tracking functionality (step tracking, sleep monitor, running,  etc...) over the s6.    I think of it as a s6 combined with the s20.

Also looks like it has a slightly better display (bigger + higher res).

I ordered a S60, Its saying delivery for Thursday.  I was torn over saving money and getting the S6, but I liked the look of the S60 better.

If you are just looking for a solid GPS and are not hung on the watch style.. don't overlook the very economical G10 by garmin. I switched to it from an S3 and could not be happier. It locates satellites and courses quickly, has decent functions for layup yardage etc. and it's stingy on battery use. I also like having the buttons in stead of the touch screen which is more of a personal preference I suppose. All in all though, it gets the job done nicely and is a real bargain imho.

What I posted in other S60 thread..

Just got done, battery seems fine...Started with 96% and ended 18 and synced to phone with 71% left, I don't see why you couldn't play 36 on one charge.  Its a nice watch don't get me wrong, but the detail and course layout at least on my course was extremely generic/non-existent.  An app like golfshot does this 100x better.  It did track might shots pretty decently, but for some reason lacked all detail stats (fairways hit, greens hit, etc...). The watch is very nice but I think I will try to return it, for $400 it should do these things spot on.

The features are awesome and bei g able to move the pin for yardages is key. I do agree the hole layout is fairly generic not much detail it would be nice to have the detail zoned in so you can point to targets and trees and stuff

Is it detailed enough that, say for instance you're playing a new course, it will differentiate between cuts of the course, i.e., fairway, first cut, second cut etc?

When I bought my S6 it was for this reason. Playing a new course, a dogleg left that looked like cutting the corner was fine, only to find nothing but gunch there. I'm wondering if I might have to go to a handheld like the G6 in order to get enough detail.

Just got my S60 yesterday.  For a watch and activity watch so far, I'm liking it.  Playing this weekend on a new course (likely my new home club) and will give an update this weekend.  So far, just playing around with it, it seems to be of decent detail based on other courses I've played in the area.

I am interested in the S60, and would like to use it with the Garmin TruSwing device. I saw on their website that the combination TrueSwing / S6 provides additional information wrt wrist angle, etc, which are not available with other Garmin GPS watches. Does anybody know if one would see these details with the S60, as I understand that the S60 is the newer version of the S6?
Thanks!

Edit: I just checked their site again, and it seems that the S60 provides the wrist angle information.

I have an S60 on the way. Hoping it gets here Thursday as we're playing a couple new Colorado courses on Friday.

If it does, I'll share my thoughts on it here.

FWIT, I'm really not at all interested in swing metrics or shot tracking from the watch. I just want a fairly decent picture of the hole so I can see what is up there.

One round in, on my home course. Had a new guy playing, it was useful to be able to pinpoint the start of a lake on one hole and tell him how far to it.

I haven't figured out all the controls yet, but I'll work' on it today on a course where I have just a little familiarity. Should prove helpful.

One thing I already know I miss from the S6. Just touching the face and having it bring up layup yardages, like to 100 and 150. I found I used that feature quite a bit.

EDIT:  looks like that last feature is actually there, just have to hit a couple of buttons to,get there instead of touching the face.
