Anyone ever game these...? Considering picking up a set from Tour Spec Golf.... having the JDM bug again.... missing my Muira's.... These irons look fantastic.

Had the Vegas raf Cm, I presume these will feel like those.  I genuinely loved my Vegas minus a few things I couldn't get past.  Kyoei to me is great, I just hate their head shapes overall.  New stuff looks good.  I am 0-2 on them and they are still always at top of my list if looking.  Great forgings.  I wish they would make a boxy smaller fatter blade, I would be all over it.

Have two sets of kyeoi forging
Vega vm01 and vm 02
New blades look like vm01 with more refinement
If I had the cash I'd buy in a heartbeat

I didn't like the vm02 as much as my raf cm.  I believe the vm01 is the newer version if that and if these are newer of that then good.

Do the vm01 have the weird transition form 8/7 like the raf cm?  The way the toe went from fine in 8-p to rounded in 3-7 was something that I never could get past as I hate rounded toes.

they the 2010s ?

if so they are raw so  they will rust by looking at them ,  a coat of corrosion X make sure they stay sweet for  ages.

the  kyoei v muscle   were one of my regrets selling, don't ask me why I did.
loved those  irons.

It's not Vega nor Yururi, mine is Ikasu and yes they are raw. Choose this brand among other raws because it came with standard flatter lie angle. Tsupo is right rust develop by looking at it..lol. barely play it since humid here are not in favor.

Would like to see other Kyoei too, any other brand out there?

There is similar made from Kyoei blank (I think) but different grind; they made 62 and with nice reasonably pricing. http://item.rakuten....01916-yu201310/
Good thing, they made some lefties too and 2 Iron mb.

Really digging the look of these.  Can anyone compare for me the size of the club heads vs the Srixon z965s I am used to?

Thanks!

Thanks, 'Rusty The Wonder Wedge'...

Pretty easy to replicate, it was brand new. Vinegar soak for couple hours, then hydrogen peroxide soak with course salt add to the solution and refreshing solution and letting piece air dry between refreshes, day or two and done. propping club up and using a sandwich bag reduces the amount of peroxide you need to submerge the head.

Nice set -

Just a few questions though;

Were those ferrrules turned down? they still appear to have a bit of a collar where they meet the hosel of the irons, also did you request the shaft bands be up?

Also, TT black golds are awesome. I still think to this day they are one of my favourite sets of irons, played then in a set of Adams

I was expecting them to be stoned down a hair to address that, but didn't happen, it's slight so isn't bothering me.

I didn't specify, club maker used to game BGs himself so presume he did them how he played his. Have bands down on the wedges as that's the way Vokey WW did the 56 and 60.
