I used to have similar diatance with irons.  Pinnacle Rush launches high and long.  Distance ball, not much spin.

The two balls that I've hit high with my irons are Snell Get Sum and Taylormade Project a. They are quite different balls, though.

Seems the 2 piece balls fly higher than the urethane balls, for me. Try NXT Tour/S or Super Soft. Haven't tried the Q-Star/Tours yet, but they might do the trick? Maybe you need diff. irons/shafts to help get the ball up?! ;)
Bag set-up currently under construction..............again.............help?!

The QSTs definitely launch high off of irons, and was going to be my recommendation. Great all around ball at a very good price.

I would look at club head and shaft combo before a ball...

A ball can only do so much...

I don't think I've ever noticed much difference in ball height between different balls, from the most expensive tour ball to the cheapest two piece surlyn. I mean, PGA tour pros will out apex you any day on their short irons and they hit super low spin x Tour balls.

Soft 2 pc balls fly high off irons.  I don't think they spin much though.  The two goals are actually opposing each other in ball design.  Spinny balls are spinny because they grab the face of the iron better, which makes them launch lower.  Less spinny balls will launch higher.

And because irons have lower swing speeds, the softer balls fly higher and longer than harder ones.  Those are my general observations.
