I'm wondering if this browning on this PW would be rejected if I tried trading it in on Globalgolf or Rockbottom or even PGA trade in store?

Think it would depend on the brand and if part of a complete set.

Bridgestone j36 blades.  I had the 3-9 irons and was finally able to pick up the PW for cheap to make it a complete set.  The other irons dont have much browning as this if at all.

Shouldn't have a problem.  There are a few sets at my local PGA SS and they have some browning in the clubs like that.

Outside of broken clubs/ bent shafts everything is accepted on trade in. That would just be graded as their lowest condition for sale. Clubs have to be in sequential order, in other words can't be 4-PW but missing 6 the iron etc. However, I wonder if they accept clubs without grips? I have an older set I pulled dead grips off of that I planned to use but not gonna waste new grips on it now. They should accept them without grips because they would have to re-grip them anyways, right?

I traded in a wedge with that sort of browning on the face. It lowered the "grade" and thus the price they allowed. But not by much and, since I was buying a new set from them, getting anything towards that purchase was a sort of a bonus for me.

Reach out to their sales staff and ask them directly. You might actually be surprised at what they will offer.

And, on a bright note, that's a nice area to have that mark! : )

Lol, I wish I was the one that made that wear mark.  I bought it so I can have a set to trade in since I was able to get 3-9 irons for cheap as well.  The only other difference is the grip, I see some sites say all grips must be the same, but then some only require all shafts are the same.  I might just try and sending it to PGA to trade in.
