It might be the mobility control stripe polo; possibly max orange since you never know how the colors look between the site and in-person.

You're correct on the shirt, but it's sport fuschia. The max orange actually looks like lava glow in person.

It means you need to develop the marketing skill of knowing when it's appropriate to attempt to sell your product, and when it is not. I completely agree.

Well, I've been on this site forever and have gotten to know most of this community through the years. The shirt we developed is very close to the same color as the Nike version. Ours is a better quality product than the Nike version. Ours is $50 less than the Nike version. But, hey, if you want to pay $50 extra for a swoosh and a poorer quality garment, go for it. I think there are a lot of people that opened this thead that were interested in the shirt but not interested in paying $80 for it. I guess that's who I am talking to. So, agree to disagree.

No evidence to support your claim people in this thread are looking for a less expensive version of the Nike shirt.  Just admit it was in poor taste, good luck to your company but it was a shameless plug.

You're getting awfully defensive over a public discussion in an open forum. If you don't want to participate in discussion Google the shirt you're looking for next time, you don't get a right to complain about people expressing opinions when you're that lazy. chilidog or whatever his actual username is entitled to his opinion and we're entitled to not agree with it, this isn't a pissing contest about who has contributed more to this forum.

Yeah you did start it but that doesn't mean you get to dictate what happens in it.

Promoting a product when you're a clubwrx sponsor is fine, but doing so in an unrelated thread is poor form, and trashing your (more successful) competitors product in order to do so is REALLY poor form. People are going to respond to that.

Thrillhouse,

I used to be their supplier until we decided to start our own Brand. I know everything that goes into the product. I am the one that would know the most. I'm just offering a better product (finer denier yarn, collar stays to keep it from curling, made from recycled polyester, etc)...I'm only pointing out that it is a higher quality product. And, only because I am the one to know the best. I am sorry I offended those that were offended. Happy Fathers Day to those that are fathers here. I hope you all have a wonderful day with your kids.

I have no doubt that you know your business, your product, and the products that you compete with. As a business owner I would expect no less from you. I'm also sure that you're good at what you do.

None of that changes the fact that what you did in this thread, in my opinion and in the opinions of others, was in poor taste. That's all, you don't have to defend your product or your knowledge of your business, that's not being called into question.

So, "Buy the Charleston Pink for a lot less" set you this far over the edge and is considered in poor taste? Agree to disagree.

No, the coming into a NIKE thread as a competitor of Nike and saying "don't buy Nike shirts! They're garbage quality and my product is cheaper and better!" was out of line and is in incredibly poor taste. And in many lines of business where a higher degree of decorum and respect for your colleagues is expected it just isn't done.

Since you continue to be a smart a** about it here it is in language you should understand: it was a trashy, low rent move that makes me think less of you and makes me not want to buy your product because I don't want to support you.

Ok...where have I been a smart a**? I'm sorry, I made their products for years. I made it well known as to why I left to start my own Brand and it had a lot to do with customers not making the best products possible for a customer and making something to a price point. I've given the reasons that make our products better, but you don't want to accept the facts. So, I'm sorry that I presented the facts and you don't like them because you are a Nike fan and get hurt if someone presents a contrarian opinion. We aren't for everyone. You won't buy one of our products and find out for yourself. That's ok. We won't be the product for everyone. Again, I apologize for hurting your feelings.

You've been a smart a** by ignoring the fact that my response to you in this thread was in response to you disparaging your competitor, and instead asserted that I'm "worked up" over your benign comment about the pink shirt that occurred BEFORE you disparaged Nike and BEFORE I said anything. You also have been a smart a** by repeatedly commenting that you've somehow "hurt my feelings". I'm not responding because my feelings are hurt, and I'm not a "Nike fanboy", I don't wear their apparel, I prefer adidas and foot joy personally.

As far as "presenting the facts" goes, I don't know what planet you live on but anecdotal commentary does not meet the threshold for "factual information".

Again, your knowledge of their product or the quality of your own is not being called into question here, the poor form in which you've posted has. That's it.
