I was out there for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was 100 every day. But I'll say, I liked the dry 100 better than the Chicago suburbs 88 and humid AF.

Didn't feel like I was swimming in my own personal swamp on the course all day.

played GCU on Thurs, teeing off at 1030ish. it was pretty warm out there.

but next week at 120 degrees, I don't think golf around that time will be a good idea.

Played in 121 degree weather once in Las Vegas.  It was 4th of July weekend in 2006.  Brutal.  It can be done, but you need to take precautions.  Hydrate constantly.  Get a towel wet (coldest water you can find) and place around your neck tucked just under the collar of your shirt.  Refresh every 3-4 holes.  Keeps the blood flowing to your brain cool to avoid heat exhaustion or stroke.  Recommend taking a cart as well.

I played The Reserve in Palm Desert yesterday.  We started around 6:30 and when we were done it was pretty hot. When I was younger I didn't mind it so much, but now that I have a lot of miles on me I noticed it more. I can remember playing 54 one day in August when I lived in Palm Springs. I wouldn't try that anymore.

Look at the forecast for Tuesday.

I played yesterday at 630 am... was fine, got hot towards the end of the round.. but yeah unless you are out really early, it's pretty brutal.

Played The Views GC in Oro Valley (just north of Tucson) Saturday.  I saw 109 on my car thermometer but it was nice on course.  Slight breeze but not enough to make golf hard.  Teed off at 2pm and it was great.  We didn't walk of course.

It seems hot in the parking lot and I think WTH am I doing?  But I have never noticed heat when on course.  Delusional maybe?
