I recently broke the leg on my 2017 Hoofer. I rigged a dowel to act as the leg for now but I have to re-glue gun it every 3-5 rounds which is a little annoying. I know Ping sells replacement legs... I was thinking of drilling out the rivets and just using screws w/ the new leg but I wanted to see if anyone has walked this road before me. Thanks!

The 2017 bags have pins for the legs. Just remove pins and insert new legs. They come shipped with the legs dissambled.

How did it break? Assuming it wasn't something you did it should have some sort of warranty I'd think.

Also interested in the warranty post, if it broke during normal play it seems PING may be willing to send out a replacement leg for you.

I'd press Ping for a replacement first... if they're anything like Sun Mountain, they'll send replacements no questions asked.  If you do stick with the DIY route, use some shaft epoxy, gorilla epoxy, etc and it should hold permanently.

Yeah warranty is out of the question b/c it was definitely my fault and not Ping's. Guess I'll have to take a closer look at them and see if they're as easy as Kiwii says, hope he's right!

Even if not a warranty sittuation, I'd still reach out to Ping for replacements... even if paid for, I doubt they'd be that expensive and I'm sure they'd come with instructions for changing them out.

I reached out to Ping via social media and they told me toId me to talk to my local retailer to special order the leg but couldn't give me any further info nor pricing oddly (assume it must not be in-house with their lack of expertise). I then talked to a couple local Ping dealers and they all were kinda clueless to the process... Stopped by the Galaxy today and their "Ping Guy" knew exactly what I needed. Going to order the new leg Mon/Tues and said he knows exactly how to put them together so it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the responses!

I'll update this when this get resolved with more info about the ordering process, cost, etc...

*begin sarcastic rant*... Ping will probably want you to send the whole bag to them where they will replace the let and then send it back to you. You will be without your bag for four weeks... *end sarcastic rant*
