Feels like 2002 when they first did this.  Back then the shirt looked like a tshirt but was made of golf shirt type material.  Alot of clubs wouldn't allow it.  No collar, no play.  :)

You all read that right, I have been on the practice facilities many of times and a guy walks up in jeans and a t shirt. Clearly against the rules but nothing is said. I have also played with people on the course clearly wearing cargo shorts, once again no comment from anyone. This young guy comes in with his new Nike bladed polo and gets turned away. Last time I checked if a dress code is strict it should be enforced across the board no matter what. At the end of the day its still a awesome golf polo that is a new style, if pros wear it in events an amateur should be allowed to as well.

I used to 100% hate the blade collars, but they seem to be growing on me.  Either that or Nike tweaked the design to make them look more like a polo collar.  There were a few times this weekend where I couldn't tell what kind of collar a player was wearing.  Nike was all over the broadcast this weekend though.

I love the blade collard NG offerings with out question. Just clean, functional, and still collard.  It's nice to have an option from the traditional style shirts.

If I saw a guy in my foursome dressed like Captain Picard, err Rory Mcilroy I'd laugh so hard on the first tee.

And while we're at it, why can't the men wear shorty shorts like the women?

Dang nabbit!

FWIW, I'm still under 30 years old and I hate the blade polos. Doesn't look proper.
