Hey guys,

I currently have an SKB hardcase.  One of the wheels broke and the so did two of the handles.  It's an older model, but I can get replacement wheels and handles from SKB.  But I'm considering getting a soft travel bag.  Looks like the consensus is to get a SM ClubGlider or ClubGlove.  I've seen posts where some have switched from ClubGlove to ClubGlider.  I was wondering if anyone out there switched from ClubGlider to ClubGlove?

I saw someone with a ClubGlove at the airport and he was dragging it around.  It looked cumbersome - just like when I drag my SKB around.  That was one of the things I didn't like about the SKB (I think the wheels were too small) but not sure how much of a difference the ClubGlider would make.

Thanks!

If you're getting a soft bag, the club glider is the way to go.  It is so easy to move around.  Easier than my luggage.

I went from a Club Glider to a Last Bag Large Pro because I got a bigger bag. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either.  Club Glove seems to offer a bit more protection/padding in my opinion, but I do miss the Club Glider wheels/legs.  So easy to maneuver.

Depends on what you are looking for.  I went from Club Glove Last Bag to Club Glide due to ease of use in an airport.  It's by far the easiest bag to pull I have ever seen.  Can't believe nobody else does this.

Went from a CG Last Bag to a Glider about 4 yrs ago -- it is semi-hard because of the leg system, so it offers more stability than a soft bag, and it's easier to glide than a carry-on. You can place plenty into the bag and stay under the 50 lb limit
