I have a set of black boron PP 9003 and was wondering if i had the straight neck version.  Does anybody know if there are any stampings to differentiate the straight neck from the original ?

Thanks, just took a closer look and figured it out...there is a stamp in the cavity, a tiny square

I got rid of all my PXG gear last year, its a very good iron but nothing special.  I went to Nike Vapor fly pros and then Mizuno JPX 900 HM and then the 900 forged  and now I'm playing Miura CB 57s and Miura PP 9003.....the black boron finish that Miura uses is really pathetic, but the irons are nice !

The JPX HM are more forgiving for thin misses ....toe and heel misses are similar.....In terms of feedback, the 900HM is pretty vague and the Miura is more Precise.....In sole design, the HM is more forgiving for fat shots, due to bounce and width of sole

I purchased some 9003 SNs and will install a set of Modus 120s in them; eager to try Miura for the 1st time.

I owned both and the HM's blow away the 9003's distance wise.  The lofts are a little stronger but it's more than that because the HM's have an active spring face.  Sole wise, the HM's have a killed leading edge but less bounce than the Miura's.  I'd call that a draw.  The HM's have a higher MOI according to Maltby and I believe it, so they are a little more forgiving on strikes off the sweet spot.
