Every time he misss a putt, he steps back and gestures like it broke the wrong way.  Don't think the Spider is going to help him with his green reading skills.

When pro's miss putts they can go two ways:  the imaginary "spike mark/imperfection" followed by the tamp down or Rory's way.

I'd love to see just one pro do the honorable thing when they miss a putt and just punch themselves in the dick.  Just once!

Great point about his green reading.  I will say that when these putters first came out, I thought they were one of the easiest to line up and start the ball where I wanted to.  Granted if he is reading the green wrong in the first place, it won't help, but I did notice it was easy to line up at least for me...

Rory was on the putting green when "Live from" came on at 1:00 yesterday.  They must have showed him putting for 20 minutes.  And in that entire time, he missed the same 6 foot putt about 95% of the time.  Each time he looked up and back at someone with a smirk on his face.  He better putt better with it come Thursday.

Rors going all in for TM.  I honestly did not think he would tinker with the putter until after the majors were over.

Why? He hasn't putted good for what feels like years at this point.

Why?  Because it's totally different then anything he has used and been successful with in the past.

Several or the refinishing places can perform the sight line.  From what I've read it requires a refinish as well.

Hows Rory doing with that putter? The announcer on the Golf Channel said he would be surprised if Rory was using it next week. LOL!

He does not look terribly comfortable with the Spider, but as a caveat, his entire game is a bit of a mess right now.  I saw him drive the ball into the water yesterday at the Travelers, and I just watched a segment on The Golf Channel about how he wasn't even close to the green on any par 3 yesterday with his iron shots.  Rory is simply not in a groove right now, but I would not be surprised if his run with the Spider does not last long.
