or the lack thereof.

I purchased a set of the JGR hybrid irons at the end of last season and have been very pleased with the performance and quality of the irons. Unfortunately, I last a wedge during a round two weeks ago and when I contacted Bridgestone regarding the purchase of a new club I was told

"Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not offer individual irons for sale at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I could understand this in a legacy club but this is still a current model. Last set of Bridgestone clubs I'll ever buy.

If they don't sell individual clubs, they don't sell individual clubs.  Not sure how this indicates lack of customer service.

global golf...ebay...etc all sell single clubs.

In regard to the single post, I have used this forum as a reference as needed, frankly not very often. I was so irritated that I felt the need to post rather than continue to "lurk".

At the moment, however, I am eating a small portion of crow. Several days ago, I received an email advertisement from Bridgestone and still being rather irked I  replied  to them with my complaint. Although the person I contact was not directly in customer service, she was able to find out that it is possible to purchase a single club through an authorized dealer, only to replace a club from a complete set. She then had a customer service manager contact me with more specifics. I have since been able to order the wedge and expect delivery later this week.

That is good customer service. Apparently the problem was the initial customer service rep was poorly trained, not a systemic problem with Bridgestone.

By the way, before my 1st, angry post, I did try at all the other venues for locating a single club completely without success.

In regard to the previous poster who felt that not selling a single club to  replace a lost one was acceptable, I hope you never lose a club. What is customer service if not helping a customer with a problem, even if it was self inflicted.

Wait...Bridgestone offers customer service to US golf customers?  Eh?  Love the clubs, but I have only heard stories like this anytime Bstone customer service comes up.
