So, I thought I'd share the story of my first outing with my new Caddytek EZ because it's that absurd. I no more than pull up to the first green on the back nine(hole 10) and begin to park the cart/bag. As soon as I rolled the new setup from the parking lot, I knew that it was very solid and that I would undoubtedly be happy with my new purchase. Anyway, as I near the green and park along the rough, towards the backside, I gently roll her to a stop and assess the ground for flatness, no problem. I then proceed onto the green to mark my ball when, for no reason at all, I happen to look back. It felt like a dream as I see the cart begin a slow roll towards a DEEP, greenside water hazard and its picking up speed fast cause it's now reached the inclined bank!! I sprinted for the cart and just as the front wheels hit the water I was able to grab the handle and save it. However, I tweaked my ankle on the rocks leading into the water as I stopped it. Thankfully the bag and my GPS stayed dry, but I did learn a hard lesson to set the foot break near impending danger!!! Ha!!! What an idiot I am; literally the first hole of this damn thing's career and it has a near brush with disaster. Thought I'd share the hilarity with all on wrx and as a warning about how easily these thing can start rolling on seemingly FLAT ground.....

I can only imagine what the group behind me thought when they saw the entire 'show' firsthand, lol

Great story. Use that foot break and stay safe. I have the Caddytek 4-wheeler and love it.

I saw a cart roll into a pond and submerge completely. The poor fellow had his wallet, cell phone, and car keys in his bag.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the phone in the catch-all handle compartment. That would have made the entire dip in the pond that much worse!! Thankfully I didn't have to go swimming for my valuables.

Didn't involve water but my buddy thought his was on level cartpath (it wasn't) and his cart slowly built up speed until it hit a severe down grade and miraculously stayed on the path for 50+ yards (all downhill) until in spectacular fashion crashed into some waste area in a cloud of dust. Balls, tees, laser, cell phone, wrist watch, drink, snacks- all became airborne like a bomb went off. Man, that made for a funny rest of the round.

I really asked for it that one time...
Long downhill par 3 and I let go of the SpeedCart V1 and thought it would stay straight and hit the flat part in front of the green.
Instead it took a sharp turn right, rolled into the green side bunker and then rolled out of the bunker heading straight to the water hazard.
Luckily there was some long fescue that stopped the momentum and the cart was lodged in the fescue just before hitting the water LOL

I'd probably pay good money if someone had a video of this happening. Glad to see it didn't go as bad as it could have.

Ha, I rolled mine into a greenside bunker at a WRX outing.  Fellas were pretty gracious about not laughing too hard.

I completely tipped my EZFold a couple of times, both times at low speeds trying to turn too hard without lifting the front tire.  Luckily I usually play by myself, so no one to laugh but myself.  I haven't had that issue with my Rovic RV2L, but I had most of a season with the EZFold to get used to the push cart basics.

Clic Gear 3.5 would never do that.

Maybe that's why the Rovic hasn't either, since it's made by ClicGear.

I was joking.  I love my caddytek from Costco.  Best golf purchase I've ever made.
