Any idea if this it's real or fake.  Any advice is appreciated. No coa, and don't wanna even say how much the seller is asking. Lol. 400 bucks 1496938879624.jpg 1496938885948.jpg 1496938890002.jpg

I know nothing but cameron putters but usually the milling is off, the text is wrong and slightly misaligned. I can't really tell too much but considering how good of shape it looks, the milling doesn't look as pronounced as this one:

It could just be a bad pic, but not sure.

The neck looks to be cast and not milled from the pic. Agree with face milling

Just ask for the PP address so you can send payment.

Its fake, no question.  If someone is selling a $3k+ putter for $400, its too good to be true.  If you are good with buying a fake, you can get them like this from $150-$200 on some other China direct sites.

This exactly... if seller was hurting for cash that bad he could list here or "across the street" for $1.5-2k and have it in an hour.... or if he didn't know about those two markets and didn't want to screw with eBay, he'd just take it to the local used clubs shop and could get >$400 cash for it without question. If it were real...

Wouldn't it also have a COA?

Many Scotty CTs don't have them. Most that are actually issued to Tour players won't have them. They can always be authenticated by the Custom Shop after the fact.

I realize the price is suspicious, but I see nothing about the actual putter that makes me think it is fake. I wonder if some of the Cameron guys could give a better appraisal. I wouldn't write it off yet.

The face milling is way off, the face stamping is iffy, and the sole looks like it's not the right kind of metal.

I would be shocked if this one wasn't fake but hey, I thought one was real a few weeks ago that turned out to be fake so who knows.

I am far from an expert, so I am not claiming to know much in this arena. But I've looked at a bunch of these over the years and this one, if fake, is a really good fake. I have a Scotty (authentic) with similar face milling patterns.

It's shocking how good some of the fakes are getting. I used to be able to nail all the fakes right away no problem at all, but even I'm starting to miss some of them.

Amen to that. They are getting good. Sad for the authentic brands.
