Curious if anyone has tried both and how they compare.  Been reading up in both but there are mixed reviews and commentary.  Looking to change from my current Diamana D+ 70 stiff to bring the ball flight and spin down on the high spinning 915 D2.

I see the GP has a stiffer tip, but mid kickpoint vs the BB with a slightly softer tip, but higher kickpoint, with weight and torque being about equal.

For reference, my driver ss avg is 105 to 110 mph, high ball flight, with misses usually a high fade.  Been gaming Diamana Ahina and now D+ for the past 5 years or so.  I don't have access to a trackman or LM.   Thanks.

This chart shows the BB vs the GP... ie BB will have a lower launch.
I have used both in a driver in 6X and found that to be true.

IMO BB should be further to the right for spin. DI should be Mid/Mid-high, BB should be Low-Mid/Mid and GP should be low. DI and BB were designed to be mid-spinning shafts in a low spin head. GP is a great shaft, feels solid yet smooth. Really like it. Sneaky low launch for how smooth it is and dispersion may be 3rd best on that chart save P9003/M9003 which are much stiffer profiles.  BB was smooth and kind of lower launch but spin was a bit higher than i expected and ballooning/dispersion were issues. To me BB also almost lost too much feel. It was so smooth it felt like a dead stick. No feedback.

The BB feels like a broomstick on contact, IMO. The results were good and as advertised, but I really couldn't handle the feel. The GP is a really great shaft and I agree that it's sneaky low-launching. You have similar SS, misses and flight as me and I've had a ton of success with the GP. If I could find another one reasonably priced, I'd probably be gaming it again.

Interesting replies.  Thanks all for the real life feedback.  Keep um coming.

Just confused because I've been reading that for some, the GP feels more stout than the BB, yet the chart says the BB is supposed to be lower flighted.

The GP felt more stout in the hands than the BB to me.  I think they have a chart somewhere that says the is softer in the butt section as well.

I gamed the BB 7X at 42" in a 913F 13.5 head and it was an friggin ankle biter. I wish I had spin numbers for it, but I never put it on the monitor. Launched stupid low, couldn't possibly turn it over and it hardly spun

The GP can aid in providing low spin numbers - the harder you swing the better it performs IMP.  Personally, I don't find it to be too stiff or boardy.  I think there is a proper way to load the shaft and if you do it performs well.

I have been playing a 110MSI Rougue Silver 60s tipped 1" in a 2015 M1 for a while now.  I went and got fitted for a new 3 wood, and they fit me into a Tour AD BB in a Tour M2 15*.  I love the way the BB flies and feels.  I was thinking about switching my driver over to the Tour AD family.  I have it between the TP, GP and BB.   Looking for a Low/Mid launch with the lowest spin of the bunch.  Which one would that be?  I am also reading conflicting reports on tipping vs not tipping the TP and GP.  Any insight?

My numbers with the BB and GP (both 6-S) were very similar but the BB felt smooth, whereas the GP felt boardy. FWIW, I played the BB for about six months, first in a 913D2 and then a 915D3. Have you considered renting them from Shaft Shack (www.shaftshack.com) and finding out for yourself?

Thanks for the Shaft Shack info.  I did not know that existed.

Anyone have info on which shaft would spin the least?  BB, TP or GP?
