Pretty good deal on this cart, similar to a clickgear but save some money. I ordered one over the weekend, looks like they only have the Lime Green color left but I figured i'd pass it on.

It is an amazing cart, super quick set up and take down. Lots of storage areas, my only con is it has a foot break, other than that fantastic cart for the price. I have the lime green one!!

Ha........looks to be as popular as the KS ball.

I do have this cart, purchased it last year about this time for $99 delivered.  It's been a solid cart and well worth the $99.  I'd purchase another one but hope to get many more seasons with the one I have.

Does it fold up in a way that doesn't require you to remove your bag from it every time? I feel like my buddies clic gear does this and it's really nice.

I was wrong, the clic gear doesn't. I assume this doesn't either.

Yeah, that was weird. I used the link above, and it said no longer available. I tried going through the Costco's main page, and it still showed not available. I just got and email ad from Costco, clicked the Caddytec picture, and it took me right to the sale promotion. Only color that was available is lime, and I ordered one. Yea!

I'm in the market for a new cart as my Bag Boy brake snapped on Saturday.  I just ordered a silver one as both silver and lime were available.  Even as a non-Costco member ($5 added surcharge) it's still a great price!  Hope I enjoy it as much as all the positive reviewers do.

I have this cart and it is pretty good generally. It pushes nicely - and lots of storage (much better than the Clicgear Costco offers).

I have had an issue that causes a trim piece on the top from letting the cart fully fold down.

My buddy had a lock mechanism fail completely - plastic sheared off.

So why would I still recommend??

Because the retailer - Costco took the buddies cart and gave a full refund, no questions.  After months of use.

At $99 - this is a no brainer.  I paid $120.

This thing keeps disappearing and coming back. Makes me wonder if they do it on purpose. I was on the fence, then had regrets when it went out of stock. Just reappeared and I ordered the silver one.

Costco just psychologically owned me.

Costco seems to have some funky inventory management that goes on with their website. I notice this happening with stuff whenever I'm checking deals that they send me in e-mails. Mine should deliver Friday, excited to get it set up and get out on the course Saturday and Sunday with it!

question - for those of you buying the push cart, is it that your course doesn't offer cart rentals or you play a LOT of rounds so the rental fee isn't worth it?

I'm on the fence but feel like paying $6 a round to rent is better than the hassle of storing and schlepping the cart. Let me know where I'm wrong. I'm also a weekend golfer in the Northeast so season is like May to Sept haha

The push carts for rent at my courses are basically just 2 wheels and a pole. Believe they charge 5 bucks most places to rent and I play in a league every monday and usually play a couple more times in the week other than that. conservatively calling it 3 rounds a week is 15 bucks. After a month and a half i'd have already spent over 100 bucks renting a cart, just makes way more sense in the long run to buy, for me personally at least. Plus the added bonus of the cart being really really nice compared to what I can rent. Plus, using it as even more of a reason to get myself walking instead of riding! Gotta get my exercise!

I think this Caddytek is much nicer than what is available at most courses with all of the features and how it rolls. Since I started using it I've never felt that it was a hassle to store or bring along to the course because it folds pretty compact. I have it folded up hanging from a hook in the garage, so I grab it when I grab my bag and then throw it in the car; when I get to the course I unfold it and load my gear up.

My favorite thing is just having all of my "stuff" accessible while I walk versus having to put down and pick up a bag. The push carts at my home course don't have the cup holder, umbrella holder, storage basket or enclosed storage that this has.

Just posted this in the Equipment section

"I bought EZ FOLD from Costco for 119 great cart. Called them when I saw the sale 3 weeks, without asking they gave a credit for the difference. Great customer service.
Notice to CaddyTek owners. My brake failed after 8 holes, can't tell you why, but it did. Got it fixed when I got home. Called CaddyTek and they are sending a new one, apparently once it fails you must replace. "

I returned a Rovic [Clicgear] to Costco, CaddyTek is all over that one. Lots of storage and easy to push around.

Cart fees at my course are $14 for a push cart, $20 to ride (18 holes). I have walked close to 100 rounds with mine (many of those being 9 hole rounds after work) in the last year so it has paid for itself several times. It's also much nicer than the rentals and despite my heavy use, is still as good as new with no durability issues.

As far as "storing and schlepping" it folds up/down in 2 seconds and fits easily in my trunk. I'm in CO so similar length golf season to yours in the NE.

$14 to push and $20 to ride? I can tell what bills they want your money to pay off.

Almost every course I've ever played considers a push cart to be walking. No extra charges.

question - for those of you buying the push cart, is it that your course doesn't offer cart rentals or you play a LOT of rounds so the rental fee isn't worth it?

I'm on the fence but feel like paying $6 a round to rent is better than the hassle of storing and schlepping the cart. Let me know where I'm wrong. I'm also a weekend golfer in the Northeast so season is like May to Sept haha

I assume he meant to rent a push cart was $14.  Since the poster has his own, he doesn't pay anything above the green fee.
