I was watching Stanford play ASU during their matches.  
What I notice is how pure the contact they make is.  It is a very crisp hard hit.  Not as hard as a PGA pro.  But hard.

Usually the player will look at their shot and I guess find a point to aim at.  Take a practice swing or 2.  And then step up to the ball.

How do they achieve such good contact?
Anything we can learn from the college players?
