Almost any Callaway fairway head works for me. The Razr X Black is really easy to elevate and so is the XHot2. I have a XHot2 3Deep that I love off the tee or deck. Have not tried the XR or XR Pro but expect I would like those as well. I have an Epic 5 wood which I like because it does nof have the same design aa the driver. More like past Callaway fairway heads -- fast faces and smooth at impact.

I haven't liked Callaway drivers all that much -- had and sold two of them in past 5 years -- but their fairways always fit me well. A bit flatter lies than other brands and I like that. I am not consistent off the deck with fairways so I mostly look for help there first.

Ping G400 9 degrees, Ping Tour stiff shaft, 65 grams
Callaway XHot2 Pro 3 wood, 15 degrees, Aldila Tour Green stiff shaft
Callaway XHot2 Pro 5 wood, 17 degrees, Aldila Tour Blue stiff shaft
Titleist 816 H1 hybrid, 19 degree set to 20, Diamana Blue 60S shaft

Miura CB57 5-PW, Nippon Modus 125 stiff shafts, soft-stepped
Ping i200, 4-PW, power spec lofts, Dynamic Gold 120 stiff shafts
Mizuno S5 50-degree gap wedge, Nippon 1150 stiff shaft
Callaway Mack Daddy 2 54-degree wedge, S grind, DG wedge shaft
Callaway Mack Daddy 4 Raw, 58-degree wedge, X grind, DG S200 shaft
Edel Rogue putter (thick blade), 34 inch, 71 degree lie, 2 degrees loft, 100-gram round Pure grip
Argolf Avalon (small, semi-circle mallet) 34 inch, 71 degree lie, 2 degrees loft, 100-gram round Pure grip.

No love for Cobra LTD?
Zero CG really works for a FW. Definitely my favorite 3w off the deck.
There's many I like from off the tee....

F6 Baffler is also great for off the deck.

I liked the V-Steel.  The R9 was very similar & I hit one for a long time.
The XR16 is my current favorite.  Easy to elevate & long.

I think that Borat would agree...he would have "great success" with the XR and XR16.

Past: TM V-Steel 4w, great club that still makes appearance in the bag from time to time

Present: Cobra F7 3-4, haven't got a lot of time in with this one yet, but so far it has been a lot better than the newer stuff I've tried

I hit the cobra ltd 4/5 yesterday and, though i love the sldr tp, i couldnt believe the distance and accuracy with that club...i had a 239 yard hit off the deck on a par 5 that rested on the fringe yesterday in rainy windy condition. Second hit later in the round went about 15 yards further than ive ever hit a 5 wood...ever...diamana 70s shaft btw set at 17.5 degrees. Go buy one.
Also m2 3 wood is lights out too. Literally easiest 3 wood ive ever hit. Gonna go try out a cobra ltd 3 though after how good the 5 was yesterday. Got the cobra as a random toss in on a trade. In one week it kicked out my 690.cb 2 iron that ive gamed since ive been coordinated enough to hit it.

I'll preface this by saying I've never really had an issue hitting 3woods from the deck, but my last 2 have been solid gold.  Both Cally - the OG Xhot Pro and the Bertha 816.  Both are great off the deck and the 816 is a cannon.

Cally Steelhead Plus, circa early 2000. Tiny head but couldn't seem to miss. Easy to work. I have the four wood- it's now about ten
-15 yards shorter than my 915F. The 915F replaced TEE- another awesome fw, but not easy to hit.

My Cal BB Alpha 816 and Titleist 910 13.5 F are battling it out for top spot. The old favourite TEE CB5 3 wood has been sold. That in itself says something, that CB5 was impressive.

My Original Ping 16 degree rapture 3 wood  might not be the longest but the combination of elongated  face and low face height it's one of the easiest fairway woods to hit  off the deck.

TM R9 tp; burner 2008 I think it was, also a bomber off the deck.

Right now, favorite club in my bag and best wood I've ever owned...Cally XR16 Pro.   4 WD, but I hit it as long as all my old 3 wd and very consistent.  Wish I'd have gotten the 3 and 5 instead of 4.  Well...not really but it's a wonderful idea.

Until this year, I have always answered this question with TaylorMade VSteel.

Now, I will answer with Callaway Epic SZ, the best fairways introduced since the VSteel.

Another MP-001 vote here...it wasn't the cannon off the tee that some of the newer 3 woods are, but I could hit it better than any other off the deck, and close to the same distance as off the tee.
