Rogue 125 was a weird one.  It was an overnight success and an overnight failure on tour.  Very strange.  I had one and liked the feel but dispersion was not good enough and left was very much in play.

It really was an overnight success on the tour, it seemed as if everyone started playing it at once and then it disappeared just as fast as it arrived. I think some of the areas they could have improved that shaft they are according to JT above, with a slightly less counterbalance nature and stiffer tip. Still one of my favorite shafts to play really liked the feel and never really had a problem with dispersion. It seems I too suffer the curse of always searching and switching to the next big thing, I guess thats just one of the burdens I will have to bear.

100% correct.  Also, I notice that project x products get a bad wrap on here, they make some good products...the hzrdus line was/is very successful.  I think every single OEM has the hzrdus yellow as a stock shaft now...

Everyone is different I suppose but after trying pretty much every high end shaft over the last 12-18 months my favourite by a long way is the Hzrdus T1100. It feels really smooth and very low spin. Not the slightest bit harsh as some find.
I quite like the CK PRO White shafts and have also got on well with counterbalanced ones so thought the CK Pro Orange would be a good fit but really didn't like it at all.

People really do need to try them out for themselves.

Iím secretly hoping these new shafts donít beat out the synergy since I finally got one and Iím loving it.  Either way itís an upgrade over the dual core for me and I was in love w my dual core.

My opinion is that Hzrdus black is an outstanding shaft. Just very tip heavy. Yellow is the counterbalanced model but reasonably high launch and higher spin than you'd expect, which is why you see it as a stock shaft everywhere. The T1100 is one of the lowest spin shafts you'll ever hit, but it's very stiff feeling and just doesn't have a lot of life to it. I think the line overall does what it's supposed to and has a lot of potential, however if the t1100 felt like the yellow, it would be one of the top 2-3 shafts in golf. I feel that they still need to work on multi material construction more to get the feel dynamic more dialed in, but as far as shafts I've seen in stock drivers, I'd take a Hzrdus black over almost anything. Performance is very solid.

Nothing that I've seen yet is going to really spin less than a Synergy Black. We will just also have a counterbanced option that's pretty close.

It is a shaft that I don't personally like much. Feel is not bad but it's not particularly low spin, and it just doesn't do anything eye popping for pretty much the 1-2 most expensive shafts in the US market. Tipping it more didn't really do much except kill the feel and it just didn't do what we wanted it to do, and we said as much. This is a total redesign based on testing and Tour feedback, and I think will be a much more popular shaft on Tour for a longer duration of time.

If it suits you, I agree 100%. Dual Core XT is outstanding. One of my 2-3 favorite shafts which I played for quite some time.

He may not need it if his spin numbers are there withe KKDCXT. The only added bonus if you are already dialed in, is going up a degree or two in loft, switching to Synergy Black and retaining ideal spin numbers with slightly more launch angle.

I will be adding some data on Kuro Kŗge Dual Core XD next week as well as some new info on the newest msi135 Rogue. Yes I said 135.

I'm all ears on the XD and Rogue 135. I would love to see Aldila get back in the game. I feel like they've been kind of an afterthought over the past couple of years.

There are two models we have had in testing. I am okay to discuss these to some degree according to Keith so I'll let you guys in on the two I've personally been running through the paces.

135 MSI, not sure what they will call it other than next gen Rogue. It is less counterbalanced than the previous 125, stiffer in the tip, completely redesigned with even higher grade materials, new tip material to the line, and significantly lower spin than the previous model. Think, Tensei Pro Orange, with even less spin, but a balance point in between Pro Orange and Pro White. It's good, really good. Should be less expensive than the previous 125 as well. I think just under $500. The ion plated finish on these protos is great looking also. If that will carry over to retail, I don't know yet.

Tour Proto. No idea where this will fit or even if it will ever come to retail. It's an even higher balance point, ie more counter weighted than the previous line, and even more than Tensei Pro Orange. It also has an extremely stiff tip section with some near Synergy Black type spin rates. For guys that want counterbalanced but massive spin reduction, this one is right up your alley. I don't know anything about the materials or even a name on this one yet, but it's pretty wicked.

Yes both will be available through us at some point soon. The 135 maybe a week or two. The other, a little down the road.

The 135 sounds really interesting. I am just to the point where I don't think I need anything lower spin in my life than what I have (KK Dual Core TX and Tensei White TX). I swing it around 113 on GC2 and these shafts tipped 1/2" seem to give me perfect launch and spin conditions with a positive angle of attack. It just comes down to feel at this point. However, I know there is a market for guys who swing it 120+ or fight spin issues for one reason or another that could use the lower spin products.

I think when you reach the point where you don't need further spin reduction, you just decide if maybe cutting spin another 400-500rpm and going up in loft a degree or two to keep the same spin rates, but increase the launch angle might benefit you. If not, then stick with that area of shaft. The only thing that's really going to spin less than what you have by a reasonable margin, is Synergy Black at this point, and possibly one of the Tour Rogue shafts.

I’m there with my kk dc XT 60tx tipped 0.5”. It’s been launching about 13.0, spin around 2000, feels amazing and was very anti left so far which is perfect. My TI M2 is 9.8*. My question if by lofting up for launch sake, what kind of impact on ball speed will that have from the extra loft?

With those numbers I wouldn't even consider changing. Leave it alone. I was more meaning those players who are launching it at maybe 10-11 and could use a bit more angle. Where you're at, I wouldn't even consider changing as long as your strike consistentcy is good.

Someone give some advice, I had a 110+ swing speed, very quick transition....I want to put a new shaft in my f8+ but I am having trouble picking one, I have a atmos black and tensei white which I’m not a fan off, any recommendations?

And I need to kill spin, I tested the HZRDUS black today and was still spinning around 2700

I have a like-new 6.5 T1100 at 75g I keep meaning to put on the BST but haven’t gotten around to. I bought it and the Pro Orange at the same time and decided to go with the PO. If you have interest in the T1100 let me know. I don’t find it to be as “boardy” as others.  One thing it is for certain is low spin.

This

Agreed. Read the opinions of the testers as well as the data on T1100. If you like broom stick stiff and super low launch, you might like it. If you want launch angle and some life to the shaft, listen to the guys above who use Synergy Black.

The more I read about the t1100 the more it sounds like the shaft for me, I want to go after the ball hard and I’m a bigger guy that needs the feeling of extremely stiffness, with my atmos I feel like I had to dial down my swing a ton, I want to go after it in my natural tempo and not worry about the shaft so much

If you like really stiff feeling, T1100 is the one.

the t1100 is an amazing shaft and will handle everything you can throw at it...the feel at impact is also appropriately HOT for a "stiff profile" without feeling loose.  i would go that route and not look back.

Any word on Diamana WF? If we go by BF and RF announcements, it should be out this summer/fall?

It has been delayed on release until much later in the year. It was supposed to come around now, but it has been pushed back. They are heavily back ordered on Pro White and Pro Orange in certain weights and flexes, and Pro Red has been pushed back also. They are simply moving so much volume that the factory cannot keep up so delaying the release of Pro Red and White Force makes sense.

That's certainly a good problem to have.  Mitsu is maybe the most well rounded shaft company on the planet IMO.  They have something for everybody from hacker to professional.
