I just recently picked up a used KM-007 and I have a slight concern. The shaft isn't the UST frequency filtered shaft, nor is it a nippon shaft. I went into a golf galaxy to have my preferred grip installed and the fitter told me he believed it was an iron/wedge shaft of some sort. Now, the putter feels great, better than I imagined, but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything by not having a true putter shaft. I'm planning on bringing the putter to my nearest Miura builder for a lie adjustment and have been considering switching the shaft while I'm there. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

2 of my 3 have TTDGTI Black Onyx S400 shafts.

Built by a very reputable and excellent Miura dealer (he's Top 10 in the country in Miura putter sales).

.... After originally responding to your post, I wanted to add that although 2 of 3 of my Miura putters are shafted with TGDGTI, the one that is not, is my 007.

The 007 has an Apollo APPN36 Black Shaft which is an actual putter shaft.

Now obviously the putters all feel different because of the different heads, but do you notice anything extra on the 007? Similar feel to the iron shafts?

Feel pretty similar. Nothing crazy to note.

Proper CPM, Swingweight, MOI and comfortable grip and you shouldn't notice a thing.

I have KM-007 with the apollo shaft...long story how that ended up in there.
I also have KM-006 with nippon putter shaft...I had this custom built.
My thoughts are.... big difference in feel.

I will be re-shafting the KM-007 to a nippon putter shaft.
